1. Build a pitfall trap (2*2 or 2*3) build up each side at least two walls tall out of door frames (wood works, but for anything over lvl 50 i recommend using stone). Add a ramp going up one side into the trap

2. Load up on tranq ammo i recommend being over prepared in example if your using a crosbow 100 rounds outta to the trick but for a bow bring 150

3. Set a bed outside of the trap with a storage box to put your taming gear (weapon, ammo, sleeping agent(i.e narcotics), and taming food)

4.lure to trap, if your a low level i recommend riding a dino into the trap hopping off and running. If you have tames use a flyer to fly over the trap, or i prefer using an iguanadon to jump over the pit trap from the top of the ramp(it dose clear a three foundation gap at 108% move speed).

5. If you died spawn on the bed Asap, otherwise get into your taming gear and begin shooting the therizinosaurs with your tranq ammo being weary to not over shoot an loose tameing effectiveness.

6.maintain its torpor by feeding it the prepared or gathered sleeping agent. On standard single player settings it may talk a very very long time to tame if you use berries like me so keep a watchful eye

AFTER: when you have the therizinosaurs, you have the vegitarian rex. It is a berry eater so yo wont get any fast health by eating. But from my experience anything lower in level than it on the island is pretty much screwed until its dealt with. Along with its decent combat its a fantastic gather of many things. Hope this helps

bruh how come when riding and using snipping move it gives fiber but when it's wandering it only gives berries???

Me and my sister were on genesis when 3 of them came out and demolished us.use wood or metal spike walls to kill or tame a therizinosaurs

It took many different trys but i finally got one if u have access make 3 (large bear traps) he will get stuck for a minuite so fire off 3 tranq arrows then be ready to put down the next one! Fyi the ome i got was only level 20 so have more traps just in case! Mine took 2 but he still almost got me hahahappy hunting

Here is how to tame a tickle chicken (therisinosaur) trap it with four stone gates leave some little holes tranq it with a crossbow (toxic arrow recomended) and feed it all ur megalo egg kibble sometimes u get lucky sometimes u dont so bring at least 500 narcotics there is a glitch that makes it eat instantly while food is max can anyone tell me what that is

To tame it you will need a trike with high hp. And sit on top of a cliff or a rock and shoot it with tranq arrow or tranq darts etc. And you will need so many narcotics to tame it so come prepared and you can tame it with veggies and berries.THANK YOU

When your facing up against this guy there’s 2 options it’s booking it out of there or fight I’d choose to run cause the only way your winning they fight if u have decent weapons ☠️

This is a must tame for all.

For mobile players, if you click jump, it does the TICKLE attack which instantly harvests roxkcarrots and fiber,bite harvest lots of hide and berries, basic attack for instant wood. A great strong tame, can lift weights. Just tame it.

Easy take a slingshot with 180 rocks 30 berries and a soothing balm (u can get one from megapirahna hunt) and shoot the bird don’t forget to go on a high rock and after u knock him give him soothing balm and berries I tamed mine at level 11 he is with me till level 75

Well Im on mobile and went on a tame spree and I’ll leave instructions. So I got 5-6 dilos and 2 raptors to fight him and we won with no casualties. For a raptor use bolas and use a club or fists to knock him out (in my experience they tame fast) and then for a dilo you have to knock them with clubs and yeah. Then have either a pistol, rifle, or a sword and you’ll kick ass. Yeah it’s for mid level but if you still don’t know there you go. But if you want the truth have a good guard team of dinos and you’ll be fine, but don’t do what I’m doing and go across the island in a caravan of dinosaurs lmao

If you’re going to fight it I suggest you fight it with a Rex

I got two of them at level 30 and it’s pretty easy you get on a rock with crossbow or trap trap is if you can take a few hits make it out of stone or metal and shoot with crossbow with darts for both tips
