They follow you, they want a reason to kill you (and they sure can). Run into the ocean or deep water to escape, otherwise fly away or run. Basically a rex but smaller.

Wild Therizinos can’t swim down so look for deep water, although if you have good movement speed and stamina you can just run.

Secret tip from people that breed max lvls therzions. The current rating for these guys on harvesting prime meat is wrong. All melee build plus all power harvest perk can give 80+ on tiny lvl 10s... on 150 perfect tames we rake in way over 200 prime for one alpha raptor. Stomps all over the giga in terms of prime gathering. See a random alpha raptor? You have a few stacks of cooked prime if you pack grills on a quetz and a fridge or 6...

Taming these guys is annoying.. ill show how.

Aim- Tame a Therizinosaurus

Requirements- (Search the dodo dex for the requirements)

Procedure- Get on to a cliff or a rock they can not climb on if low level or if high level trap them, sleep for it's hunger to go down for fast taming or just bring soothing balm they're herbivores so they prefer crops or berries just bring it's preffered kibble or smth shoot it with toxicant arrows and knock him down then tame him

here's some tips so you don't make the mistakes I did:

1: don't use tranq arrows. it takes longer and is more dangerous.

2: get them in the trap ('u' shape of METAL billboards), they will set off the bear trap, once they are in immobilised IMMEDIATELY put the 4th billboard behind. Mine got out (the trap doesn't trap them for that long) and nearly killed me, the aggro doesn't last too long.

3: stay near the unconscious tickler. use exceptional kibble (don't use crops like I did) and starve it down for a while. they will require hundreds or narcotics or biotoxin, stay near, killing threats on your argie.

4: now you have a wonderful tickling chicken friend!

Recommend to make narctoict stadion close by and have tames for berries and meat

One of the best resource gathering Dinos in the game.to be honest I accidentally shot my first one out trying to knockout raptors( yes it aggro on me but I knock it out before it gets close.)and figured oh might as well tame it. Though you should tame it on a pteranodon using a rifle, not on a high rock where it cannot get you with a crossbow with tranq arrows like me ( its risky i had 240 tranq arrows but u may not have that many.) It rivals tyrannosaurus in sheer power and while my first one was tamed at player lvl 35,other players will end up taming it when you learn its saddle at lvl 69. Hope that helped those who are having problems with these fluffy dinos tearing your wooden stuff up and slaying all ur dinos early on

This thing has killed me and my dinos idk how many times and all I do is walk past it and it starts chasing me, I've also watched a lvl 3 body a carno and 2 raptors then still came at me

Moral of the story if you find one just run bcz I'm literally lvl 61 and died in like 4 hits from the thing and it broke my brand new chitin armor. Mwah mwah

1. Build a pitfall trap (2*2 or 2*3) build up each side at least two walls tall out of door frames (wood works, but for anything over lvl 50 i recommend using stone). Add a ramp going up one side into the trap

2. Load up on tranq ammo i recommend being over prepared in example if your using a crosbow 100 rounds outta to the trick but for a bow bring 150

3. Set a bed outside of the trap with a storage box to put your taming gear (weapon, ammo, sleeping agent(i.e narcotics), and taming food)

4.lure to trap, if your a low level i recommend riding a dino into the trap hopping off and running. If you have tames use a flyer to fly over the trap, or i prefer using an iguanadon to jump over the pit trap from the top of the ramp(it dose clear a three foundation gap at 108% move speed).

5. If you died spawn on the bed Asap, otherwise get into your taming gear and begin shooting the therizinosaurs with your tranq ammo being weary to not over shoot an loose tameing effectiveness.

6.maintain its torpor by feeding it the prepared or gathered sleeping agent. On standard single player settings it may talk a very very long time to tame if you use berries like me so keep a watchful eye

AFTER: when you have the therizinosaurs, you have the vegitarian rex. It is a berry eater so yo wont get any fast health by eating. But from my experience anything lower in level than it on the island is pretty much screwed until its dealt with. Along with its decent combat its a fantastic gather of many things. Hope this helps
