Idc what lvl you are if you see this with out a tame you are screwed. It will look at you for a second and ask you do you really want these hands… in .03 secs it chips you up. Fun fact if you are on a tame lower then the chicken of doom it will attack you too.

I only got a chance of taming this sort of early in game because managed to find a good spot on top of a tall rock where it can't reach, and shoot tranq arrows. Scared to tame a 2nd one. It killed me in like 2+ swipes as I still was new then. Now the same Theriz that killed me once is my best friend.

These guys are very tough to beat early and potentially mid game. If you have a Spino or another large carnivore mount, you can destroy them easily. They also can drop keratin so you can use that for cementing paste and other recipes.

DO NOT APROCH!!! Give a little boop if tamed. If it's not tamed do not give boop otherwise it will give u boop with claws and claws hurt. Claws hurt a lot. It agroos at u with goin near. Also if taming make it stuck (trap is best option) than penatrate with tranq arrows till it falls a sleep. BRING NARCOTICS MAN IF DONT BIG MISTAKE IT WILL BOOP U WITH CLAWS (probably again)!!! Also it eats berys and not beards (human beards). With the narcoticsuse use when torpor low it gives another 40 torpor, please up, it really helps thx ( if it helped u than plz up or if funny hope u liked it!) ;)

Tamed one on a big speed rock and 40 tranq arrows and a bow. That’s all it needs. And maybe 209 narco berrys

How to tame easy and fast with no kibble

1 build a 2x2 square stone base(4 total) with 2 stone door frames tall as walls (16 total). Build a wooden or better ramp so that therizino can enter the wood cage

2 go get lots of tranq arrows and a couple of bows/crossbows. Get lots of crops. DO NOT put it to sleep yet

3 go to sleep, this is a MUST. This way, therizino loses all food bar. Therizino won't Scape the stone cage

4 the first thing you do when waking up is go and put therizino to sleep.

5 feed it all your crops. It will tame super fast but loses a bit of efficiency. It won't even need narcotics but bring some just in case

To escape a therizinosaurus:

1) panick!!! (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)

I found an equus and then it ran away so I was like screw it I'll just go back home. I saw something white and I was hold up what's that. Look get a closer look, it was a unicorn. And I was imma tame it. Boy was I wrong, this guy started attacking my pteranodon, and my brilliant idea was to walk up and punch it because I'm stupid. And then it hit me once and I was ooooh okay imma run now. Yeaaah, I did not get away.

I find it on beaches near rocks

For most dinos you build a trap and lure it in.

For a Theri, that's wrong. You still build a solid structure... but it's for YOU. You don't dance with this thing trying to get it in... you build a shark cage made of window-walls to KEEP IT OUT.

I have never seen one of these murderous mofos flee very far, if at all, from torpor. They'll keep trying to slice your face off right until they keel over. Build a window-bunker nearby, cower inside while you tranq it.

You have NO IDEA how fast their torpor drops, so be prepared for that. But you'll die a lot less if you immediately turn and run for your bunker as soon as it aggro to you then shoot it from within, rather than trying to maneuver it into a trap.

Aside from the dire wolf, & sabertooth. The theri/tickle chicken, is the best hide gatherer on ark mobile the island, for those who play ark mobile swipe down on left side of screen. Gives 60+ hide depending on the level. Up please! -Utahsaurus

To get a ton of rare flowers turn on harvesting on the Theri walk it up to the flower and get off the Dino. It will rapidly harvest the plant. This yields much more flowers than any other method.
