These dudes are good for getting fiber and wood. Don’t forget to load them with narcotics when taming.

Tame a tapejara than go find a therizinosaurus near a cliff. Have your tapejara hang of the side of the cliff and shoot it till it’s knocked out. DON’T FORGET TO BRING NARCOTICS!!! Their torpor goes down 1000 in under 3 mins.

They tend too get stuck in areas of high voilage so I've gotten quite lucky just being able to shoot from a cliff, and if they are already stuck well that's just a win for you. Say goodbye too all your narcotics though. :) But happy tickle chicken! Archie's are good for taking them down. Happy hunting!

Oh, so you want a tickle bird? Simple. First locate your tickle bird. Second step shoot some tranq arrows at it! Then. RUN. Repeat until knocked out. Then but whatever is best inside of it’s mouth. And pray that you have enough Narcotics to make sure he stays asleep. Because we both know you don’t have enough to afford another smoothing palm….

An Effective tame good for farming but easiliy to tame if you are alone or even with a trap it can take hours

If you encounter him get him out of render then do a tidy save/dino wipe

This pain in the you know what showed up on my beach one day and decided to annihilate my trike, my parasaur, AND my Diplodocus... Oh! And it puppy-guards your stuff so you can't retrieve it without being taken down a SECOND TIME!!! Evil little... I'm SO figuring out how to tame him!

You guys should definitely tame this amazing creature! With a saddle unlockble at level 67 and being a simple knock out tame this creature is an amazing wood,thatch,fibre,and berry gatherer. On top of that it is an apex predator making it a powerhouse. It id especially good for the dragon fight as vegetarians get a 3x damage boost against it! GET THIS CREATURE

So basically if you low level or you don't have the appropriate things to kill or tame one of these suckers run but if you want to tame I suggest having a cage or a mount that's faster than the turkey and where you able to use weapons with and be on a high place where the turkey can't go to and mostly use tranq darts and toxicant arrows if you want to it fast and mostly don't die and kill every unfriendly locals

A good way to tame a Therizinosaurus is with a trang gun and grappling hook. Grapple to a cliff and lower yourself down, then take out the gun and trang it. These guys are everywhere in the corrupted zone of Extinction

If you want to tame this dino you must have a soothing balm andmore than a hundred of narcotic

Okay so an actual tip for my mobile players out there, here are the best ways to combat this hellspawn of a creature(i still find it cute tho). (BTW THIS IS ALL CONSIDERING YOU ARE ON EASY MODE WITH MAX THERI LEVEL CAPPING AT 30)

—TIP TIME—

Tip 1.

Once you have completed the ‘Terror Bird Hunt’ pursuit you will find yourself with, quite literally, the best weapon in the game. The Mastercraft Sword. It may seem expensive at first, but trust me when I say that this thing is worth every iron bar. IT SHREDS. Like, SHREDS. One of the most effective ways to kill a Therizinosaurus head on is to use this sword (but MAKE SURE you have decent armor, I recommend chitin as a minimum). A few sword slashes and this thing is done.

Tip 2.

Longnecks are the way forward! Once you retrieve a good enough Longneck, these things are light work. One or two bullets to the head, and they’re cooked. Personally, I use the Apprentice Longneck, as damage is good and has relatively good durability(it’s also the only other longneck i own other than the primitive). MAKE SURE to be wary of it’s speed, as one shot is all it takes to get this thing hot on your feet! And trust me when I say this, IT IS FAST. You can’t run unless you have a fast mount (raptors are too slow, I have experience) or a flying mount. Otherwise, you’re merely a piece of meat for the Vegan Rex.

Tip 3.

Trapping. If you are really having trouble with these guys, simply use a trap! (You should know i have zero experience with traps so search it up or use a large bear trap). Traps are VERY good for maiming these pesky chickens, as it can stop them in their tracks! This same thing can also be used as a way to potentially tame them, but that’s up to you. MAKE SURE you bring a good enough weapon to finish it off before it escapes though!

Guys try to use trap because this guy's torpor will decrease very soon if you knock him down within minutes he will wake up so be carefull

It's easy to tame, just feed it berries and get up close and give it a hug.

My first time playing ark and i got a spino. She was my best dino, my fav too. Saw this man and realized very quick who was the alpha and who was beta

Ive started again and now when i see one i think, killing him is mean but bulling is fine(dont bully) so i would pick up pachys and lure them into random places

If you plan on taming a theri without using kibble, make sure to bring tons of narcotics because of how fast their torpor drops as well as supplies to make more narcotics, and if their a high level just wait till u can make kibble, unless you have hours of nothing to do.

30 minutes after I'm done expanding my thatch house, this massive turkey came and destroyed my house. Not only that, it killed my raptor, 2 triceratops, 1 ptera, 4 dilophosaurus and 12 dodos. I'm in rage right now. Wish me luck, I'm gonna smack that turkey and hopefully tame it.
