Theoretically you could even use a level 1 trike, but a level 30 with some points in health and melee is more than enough to solve your problems and have tickle chicken roast for dinner.

Kill all of them. I left my Argy (Balerion) alone for one second to collect berries. When I returned Balerion was killed by one of these shit.
