With the new update you have to be a level 69 to get the saddle. Use tranq darts not tranq arrows and that helps!

Only way I have ever tamed one is by getting it stuck on a previously base trap, or leading it with a friend. Be warned, they will kill you if they get a single swipe off.

They have 3 attacks swipe attack (attack), swipe harvest (fiber), and bite (berries). Being a herbivore is also good because if you take down something big it won't eat all the prime meat.

These are beast, they rival rexs, so if you are trying to tame one,look near mountains that have jungle around the bottom of the mountain. I usually find them there.then, when taming,keep in mind that they suck at going over rocks. Find a huge rock, get on the rock, shoot the therizino.

When timing a fear turkey around lvl 50 bring around 6-7 stacks of narcotics and you should be okay , every 500-600 hunger worth of mejos = 20% ryfly of taming .
