When starting out on a new server with nothing, try to tame one of these bad boys. They can easily kill almost anything and harvest a lot.But try to hide it as it is always a target for strong tribes near you base.

Put down spike walls and lead them to them. Let them attack spike walls till death

heres how i got mine. put six stone pillars down. three on each side. put one more between them than put down a large bear trap. lead it into the pen. once trapped in bear trap run around and place the final stone pillar behind it. shoot it with tranqs and than knock it out. give it your choice of food. give it bio toxin to keep it unconceous. i got my level 14 doing this. follow this strategy and he or she is yours!

Rex seems to be the best way to deal with them safely.

I don't dare if you try to tame one when your still a noob BUT for high level players this mount is one of the best for tearing apart opponents and peoples bases

When u find this boy dont bring ur dinos but grab ur tribe 4 people is ok but more is better so when u find him get ur tribemates and 1 of ubwill distratct it while others shoot punch slice this ticke chicken

Just be prepared cause these take more tranq arows then you think! (mine toke like 57)

Use Fresonis's taming trap it works great. I have tamed three therizinos with it and nothing went wrong for once

Was taming a bronto, and one of these lvl 11 female killed my tapejara, I got mad and tried to kill it, but it killed me... I took my pteranodon to get my stuff, but I crashed (Fix it Ark, Gosh darn it) in front of her, I asked a lvl 60 ally to kill it, after that I took its meat and fed it to my Dinos and took its egg

Kite it into a large bear trap, then pepper it with narco arrows.

With tek armor, I got 3 shot by a level 9. The best chance of knocking them out is by flying high up and having tons of narcotics. I had to use a rocket turret to knock him out. The around 400 narcotics +100 bio toxins. BE VERY CAREFUL!

Build 3 by 3 stone pillars and you can take it. Player level 26-max and bring over 300 narcotics or over 200 bio toxins.

If you get too close to these oversized chickens they’ll kill you and a level 4 it’s self easily killed my lvl 14 sabertooth with only Damage and health increased

Don’t say there ticklers because I had a perfect Rex tame THEN ONE OF THESE FREDDY COUGARS CAME AND RUINED IT

If you're on the Southern beaches, or just anywhere with loads of close trees, try and weave in between them and see if you can get it stuck. I managed to get a level 120 stuck between some trees and downed him. Now he provides loads of rare mushrooms, thatch, fiber, and wood.

I encountered one on the island east of the red obelisk. I was on a raptor and zoomed right by one. The theri didn't even go after me so I kept running.
