If your gonna get a stryder get one with a mining drill because it’s overpowered early game btw to get mutagel you have to go to lunar biome and wait until percific asteroids appear. If you see an orange rock either hit it with a mantis or with your pickaxe and BOOM! mutagel btw mantis is BEST at getting mutagel

I killed a high level one using about ~70 shotgun ammo with a prim double barrel. It blew up and dropped nothing. Might be different if you kill it using a tame but don't waste a bunch of ammo like I did. Oh and also it just steps over regular dino gates

Now that I got a couple Stryders, what am I to do with my dodics, ankys, theri’s, argys, quetz, brontos, sloths and dire bears?

Whenever I open up the tab thing for the attachments it crashes my ‘dex

As of right now, there does not seem to be enough missions to tame any higher than level 120 on unofficial servers, unless there are more missions that are found elsewhere.

A useful tip , if you fail the hack it’s taking effectiveness will reset as well as the taming process

Be careful when moving the stryder around with the skiff. If you fly too close to the ground it will be pushed under the map. With very little hope of getting it back

They will spawn with random "attachments" that will allow them to either harvest, have high damage output, act as a spawn location, or function as a tek transmitter.

You can find mutagel around the heart of Rockwell when the acid rises

If it just keeps running in circles the best method is to attack a nearby Stryder (that isn’t one you’re taming) so the one that you’re taking will agro you and follow. Then just fly out of render distance and fly back to continue. Rinse and repeat. This may seem long but is a lot quicker than just sitting and waiting

WARNING XBOX PLAYERS! Do not use the A button to click when to stop the squares. USE RT. I lost a bunch of taming affectivness to that, lost 55 mutagel to a stupid pego, and then almost died when trying to tame a level 50 with 3x taming rates.

You cant cryopod it in any way. If downloaded on offical you need to wait 24hrs till you can upload it again.(counts for all uploaded dinos)

When I tried to tame one I thought it was a to hack but it is right trigger and you take damage from failings hacks

Almost impossible to tame if server is very laggy.

To tame: you will need to begin by hacking a body part. (Head, left shoulder, etc). A box will then appear with 3 little lined and boxes that cross a center line. Wait for them to be even horizontally and hit R2. This will happen more times until the box fills up with I think 9 little boxes across the center line. Stand on its back for easy taming. After many attempts on a lvl 20, one successful hacking filled the tamig bar about 6%.

Do not waste to many points on Charge Capacity. 700 is enough. Put batteries in it and recharge the stryder when its empty.

I managed to ride a leg while taming. The timer went down without stopping.
