A 120 lvl stego or higher u should reconsider too not bring a Dino stegos are slow but powerful. If you brought your Dino it would have a good chance of dying depending on what it is people that want to tame stegos are probably lvl 45. You should trap the stego in a little one by one and then knock it out. I would highly recommend using tranc darts. It would be very easy if you used this strategy I tamed a lvl 217 stego wth the strategy it had a high taming rate so it went up 50 levels witch is amazing. You should tame it with kibble or veggies. Berries do work but that takes about two hours so my recommendation is most likely is kibble it’s favorite kibble will tame a 120 in about 30m-1hour. And will turn out about at level 172

If you want to tame a stego find a rock clump up and slingshot the stego until he is unconscious.
Up so the noobs can see
If you dont tame it with kibble you can catch up on some netflix shows of yours :).
Make sure there's no other stego nearby and start shooting it from a distance, they aren't really fast, so, no trap is required.
Using kibble is preferable, because it takes really long to tame otherwise.
Do NOT listen to the people saying to use a slingshot and tame from atop of stones Stegos can and will use their tail to take you out!
1 u climb high rock
2 make sure there’s no other stegosaurus
3 fire tranq darts until unconscious
4 make sure no dinos charging at u
5 feed it berries
If your Searching for this dude and cant, They are on Herbivore Island (The small Island East-South Of the Island) [Latitude:90 Longitude:90]. The island is full of STRICTLY herbivores so Its also a Safe haven For AFK. (+ Theres alot of Iron, i managed to rack up 500 Iron bars from that island)
So just find low level it took me like five tranq arrows and crossbow to K.O. then hundred rockaroot and a little bio toxin and now I have a stego! Plz up people must see
At times 5 taming speed it only took me 5 potatoes to tame a stego. Up. so more people will see this
For primitive players fresh wheat is better and faster than kibble. About 10 min 99.9% tame.
