One of the best dinos for gathering berries, thatch, and wood. If you are using keyboard and mouse press C to cycle through the harvest modes. Heavy plates is best for thatch, sharpened plates for berries, and hardened plates for wood. Each map has different harvest values for trees and shrubs like Fjordur’s pink lavender flowers yield more berries than Valguero’s shrubbery per swing.

Just shoot it a couple times with a crossbow with Traq arrows(About 5-10 shots) then feed it alot of berries(any kind is fine) but bring extra and bring narcotics(about 10-20 depends on the level) and make sure there aren't any other stegos around and if you want, go up on a rock(They are kinda slow) and if you are a newbie use Slingshot and shoot it at its head (and you are gonna need to stand on a rock)

if you are playing on official server I would recommend waiting till the weekend evo event is up as it takes a while to tame high level Stegos

Life becomes easier with a crossbow(for newbies)

First unconscious it and trape do not feed anything.sleep, and check it's food bar it should be very low and then unconscious it again and feed taming food.

Not sure if this is a bug but it has been 28 game days no more eggs from em 1 male 2 femmels :( at first it landed eggs like every 20 min or so know about 1 per 3 real life days btw i play 7 h a day

Tame some low lvl female sarcos, gather some eggs, make kibble, tame a high level with good health(magnifying glass is useful), breed then you got your self a turret soaker.

use them to soak turrets during raids

These things are surprisingly good at collecting carrots, the entire time I was taming one I used my theri to try to find carrots to tame it faster… never found any, but as soon as it tames I hop on it, first few bushes: 50 GODDAMN CARROTS… like what

How I tamed my stego I shot it with tranq arrows( lvl 21 to make tranq arrows ) I used about 10 arrows and once it's knocked out then feed it berries

A good way to get it ready for taming is tranq arrows and a crossbow beacuse most of the time your faster than the stego

A great way to tame one is to get on a rock get your slingshot and shoot them and just feed them and enjoy your new stegosaur

These guys are a pretty good early tame once you tame it, it can gather berries, thatch, and wood pretty greatly

Best way to tame for low level Pepsi stand on a tall rock or a cliff and shoot him with slingshot in till he falls hope you enjoy your new dinosaur

I am level 16 and I have a stego from slingshot and run slingshot and run.or if I didn’t… you died to stego level 7.

its true, i just shot it in the head with a tranq arrow, turn around and ran, shot it again, and so on. It did hit me once, and did a bit of damage and knocking me forward. but it was an overall easy tame and its worth it. They’re early/mid game decent tanks.

These things can wipe many things in pvp towers shandies Fortnite etc and they help in soaking and you can use many of them with ease

Very strong on mobile, gets a crap ton of wood/berries/thatch, and they have a decent amount of weight. On Mobile a pack of 3 or 4 of these are good for killing Rexes, probably one at a time if your stegos are low level though.

Stegos don't get pissed if you eat a rare flower but dodos will wtf
