If your using a cage use a turtle to attack it then whistle back the spino will attack the turtle but the turtle should lure it close enough to knock it. Used this method to get a male spino to make a high level breading pair raising child right now

Look near rivers and then make sure you get it's attention. So you can fly or run to a cliff and shoot it from a above. The spino can't hit you from the cliff or mountain

Spinos don't like to stay asleep taming a lvl 8 took 100 narcotics and a couple stacks of narcoberrys. Hope you found this helpful.

3 metal Dino gates placed before hand (no doors on them) with 3 bear traps in the middle aggro the spino then lead it through the gates place a 4th gate while it's stuck then you're free to tranq , wait till the "tranq used" notification disappears to tranq again to perfect tame

Spinos are easy to find most of the time they spawn at Area 1 in the Island that’s just have a find him to knock him out just shoot 31/100 times With tranq arows

These guys are op.Pratically nothing stands in its way(almost) getting these early game is incredible.these guys are way to fast for a giant lizard which makes it extremely hard to shoot at.If one starts to run away do not chase it down, unless you know it's running away because of torpor.In my opinion these are better than the rex but harder to tame BC of movement speed.

you can just get 3 stone dinosaur gate and an trap to tame it i finded an 300 lvl one when i was taming an 270 lvl rex im only lvl 62 so i killed spino and his implant i gotted my darts and now gonna revive and tame it wish me luck he is so beautiful

Tamed one in a trap *they don't fit through regular dinosaur gateways* it was level 1 so it was not the best spino tame but if you guys want the recipe it'd be:

16 stone foundation (spinos cannot damage stone)

8 tall stone walls *or 32 regular stone walls*

Place wall every other space, to gat a slotted trap with a foundation length space between each

Make 1 stone wall as short as a regular one

Lead through trap and enjoy tame!

*Lvl.1 spino requires about 10-15 tranq darts

Okay so it was actually such a easy tame for me, I just stood on top of a cliff and showered it with tranq arrows so it didn’t get to hit me

Butttttt then again it was only a level 10 so it’s usually harder than that

I find that they always spawn by freaking Carnos so be careful!!!

Trap one in 3 Dino gateways and 2 gates.use tranq darts to knock out and feed it. Hope you enjoy your new friend

So when u wanna tame these guys u get on a very tall rock near them and shoot them very fast with tranq arrows until they run away and u follow it and keep shooting it till it go sleep and u put fish meat in inventory to tame, and if anything come to kill it u smack then so hard that their teeth fall out until it dies. (BRING SO MUCH NARCOTICS)

The rex has a tek saddle where is the spinos

If you tranq it in water it will take a while for it to drown so you can tame it in the water unlike other dinosaurs

Watch the torpor level when taming!!! Dodoex can be wrong sometimes!!!

I shot it with about 20 traq arrows, but my argy was distracting it. So my tip is to find a high and almost unclimbable rock that is tall so you can just shower that beast with arrows. Beware spinos are really fast, so you can run from it

Get a stego or any other high hp Dino if you’re taming low lvl spino and use it as shield

Dont go craggs island on mobile. Unless u have a rex, raptors will shred ur Spinosaurus and leave ur armor damaged. Thank goodness that for some reason pteranadons can take on high level raptors when u are taming the Spinosaurus. Ugh. Actually, dont tame on craggs island period. Unless its something that raptors dont agro on.

If you wanna tame one early on, get a safe distance and stand on a cliff ledge. Then shoot your little pebbles at it with a slingshot. I’ve done this. It’s a long wait, but worth it. :3

To tame get kibble PLEASE YOU KINDA NEED IT at least 5 pieces bring prime just in case soothing balm works best and no narcotics get bio toxin around 40 pieces get the spino stuck in a mountain a snipe it with arrows or darts at least 40 once its down its easy
