I can't find a high level spinoff so I tamed a 30 in luck so I can find a level 150 or 110 at least

This is a must have on solo play. My level 76 can take out an Alpha carno lv 1 and an Alpha Raptor level 6 back to back with no problem. When fighting with them don't forget to be near water as they gain increased movement and damage being in (Spino foot) foot deep water.

If you want to catch one properly you can setup 1-3 large bear traps in a row a good distance away from the Spino, then aggro it into one of the traps and tranq it. Don't forget, large bear traps take a few seconds before they become activated.

Bring a shield in case it gets to you before it gets to the traps, they're fast.

Ark 101 taming all large dinos. 4x4 behemoth trap. Leave a space that is person sized that you can shoot through. Use ptera or argy to bait dino into trap. Fly over the other side where dino in trap can't see you. Loop around and close open gate. Trapped. Clear dilos and other junk around trap. Knock out the large dino in trap and tame peacefully protected by gates. Ive used this method on diplos, brontos, gigas, spinos, rexes, allos, theri, etc. All in one trap.

There is a very easy trap to make Taming this beast easier, use pillars in a T shape on the ground, take 14 stone pillars, look up the vid on YT. You can get on your flyer, bump into spino to agro and lead it straight into the trap and it's stuck there. Tranq, feed, breed and saddle up your partner

I just had my friend run by it get it mad at him then shot it in the back with tranqs arrows or darts both will work but if your solo you should make a trap or get it stuck somewhere

Need any tame wepon i use crossbow then take a flyer with a LOT OF STAMINA stay above and shoot

For the guy that asked what to do cuz there is a spino next to his camp so if you are a pro and have a good bow or a crossbow you could find a high place and try to kill it or tame it but you will need some bio toxin or narcotics and knock it out with the traq arrows but if you are noob just try to not go to him cuz he will kill you and your dinos.

You can tame them is the following way

1#is making a stone trap and but a bear trap in it then use flyer to lure it in and lock it in, i recommend build trap near water so after you knock it out you can have easy access to prime fish meat(use sickle harvest salmon)

2#is stand on a cliff with a flyer in ready position, then lure it over to the cliff and knock it out, when it torpor is high it will try to run away so get on your flyer and chase it,while it running it will randomly stop for a short time so try to land a shoot it down or switch seat and shoot it if you are riding a tapejara

You put some bear traps on the ground or be on a Tula to shoot the spino

Ok so here is how I tamed my Spino. I had the help of my brother, so maybe bring some help just in case. All we did was find the nearest Spino, and I shot arrows at it to lure it out of the water so it wouldn't drown while unconscious. Then my bro shot a couple tanq arrows while i shot tranq darts. It took 2 hits from each to knock it out. So it was fairly easy for me. Good luck and I hope this helps.

When you are taming a spino make sure non of your tames attack it because when they are at low health they will run away until thy don’t see you

Ok they are not able to tame on my ark because they have 1 hp

First you need to have atleast 30 narcotics a good amount of fish meat and traq arrows but I recommend using raw prime fish meat because it tames faster with raw prime fish meat. How I tamed it is I shot it then ran in-between rocks and trees then when it wasn't chasing me jo more I shot it again and I kept repeating that untill it was knocked out then force feed it some narcotics and put some fish meat or raw prime fish meat in there and wait and after that boom you have a spino.

Find a low level spino and spam your tranqdarts with the crossbow and make sure you have good movement speed, then you don't necessarily need a trap.

Up I should raid this annoying person next to my base with my spino army down if no.

I have tamed 2 of these guys when I was around lvl 35-40s. Find some near rivers, find a good rock and shoot them (with tranqs of course) to knock them out. It helps to have a flier eg. pteranodon to move between rocks.

You can also use your pteranodon’s twirl ability to hit low level Spinos in mid-air so a higher level may spawn in it’s place.

Hello, this a Jedi. Me and my sister tamed one of these just now, and this is how we did it. 1. If you have and to find one of these, to scouting on a pteranadon. DO NOT ENGAGE, I REPEAT, SO NOT ENGAGE. 2. Go back to your base and make lots of tranque arrows and narcotics. 3. Go back to it with your pteranadon, and to to the spino. Park slightly far away from it. 3. BRING A FREIND. Me and my sister did this on single player. I don't think either of us could have taken it by ourselves. 4. Wait for it to attack something, like a parasaur. Then have your freind on the other side and load it with tranques. It will run fast and in the water so have a crossbow. Feed it meat and enjoy your monstrous freind! We named ours Titan. I'll post stories once he's seen action.
