I use rhyino and place in a self made trap with 20 foundation stone/metal and 20 door frames and only need 35 arrows with mastercraft Xbow lvl 130 dpino

I knocked one of these out with like 15 tranquil darts he is now on probably 22%

Cool new way to regen a Dino’s health if it wakes up!- so I was taming a max spino on rag and it woke up as I was getting prime :p. So because I used my horse it’s health was to annoyingly too low to knock out again and this thought came to mind, will it regen faster if I give it a corpse? Keep in mind this spino had 3200 max health and was only at 300. I killed a Barry and it amazingly regenerated all its health! Now, idk if this works with other corpses so try it out! This is for every Ark Mobile player:

1. Make a trap.

2. Knock it out with the ascendant bow from the “Kill Dilophosaurus Persuit.

Get soothing balm. Tame.

Done.

Build a Pillar Trap and Shot with Darts on him!

The best thing to find one is flying over the river randomly. if you found one make sure he cant hit you (go on a boulder or on a cliff) and shoot at him with tranq arrows. If he is unconsious just put prime or normal meat in him and make sure you have enough narcotic (i tamed a level 50 first and it needed about 200) and if you are escorting him into your base do NOT attack any strong dinos he cant handle it if its a level 100 or less spino that does not mean its weak but you have to level him a bit before killing strong dinos (the spino level 50 got 22 level with the taming bonus and he died at escorting him to my base from a therizino btw that was 30 mins ago now im mad at this game, it was my first spino)

Things you will need:

Tranq arrows or darts. ( I needed only 12 )

Longneck rifle or crossbow. { I used crossbow}

The trap method:

Take some stone pillars and place in an area a spino will fit. Then tranq it up and feed it (raw prime fish meat works best )

Your spino is tamed

The old school method:

Get up in an area higher than the spino and knock it out. You will need to chase after it tho. Then feed it.

I just kinda went on a cliff and shot it with a bunch of tranq arrows until it was knocked out then just fed it biotoxins and raw fish meat, it did take awhile though

Now I’ve got a spino next to like my dodos and raptors it looks so out of place

spino’s, personally I believe they’re AMAZING tames, but trapping them is a pain, somehow they managed to get out of the trap mid knockout because there seems to be an odd glitch where they decide they just simply don’t wanna be trapped. I reccomend using a giga trap with stone. (if you don’t know how to do the “giga trap” you need about 4 dino gates, place 3 placed with 2 gates open to where the spino will stand, with one gate where it would run out, and a bear trap in the middle where you would run into, and dodge it, making the spino in stead get stuck, then go behind it and place a gate behind it’s tail and boom it’s stuck. make sure to use normal gates not behemoth) and get to taming!

For this dinosaur I suggest using big bear traps to help keep the spino in place while shooting tranq arrows. Shooting at its head will tranq it faster .I also suggest using a crossbow, it will make the process faster.👍👍

for the X-Spino you're going to need a minimum of 150 darts and 300 narco or 2000 narcoberry

Always use toxiant and feed it prime trust me it will work

Use a grappleing hook and get above where they can reach and go crazy with your trank darts until it passes out then give it some prime meat and have a bad A dino

Here’s a tip for broke people 1.prepare some meat (prime is preferred) the prepare around 20 30 if bad aim and 80 narcotic 2.get on a tall and steep cliff 3.start shooting after a while it will run away follow it till it gets knocked out 4.shove all the meat you have 5.feed it narcotic and defend it from other dinos 6. You got a buffed dimetrodon

First build 4 or 10 stone gates and place 3 or 9. Take a Dino that can tank some attacks from the spino and put it in your trap. If it’s in, launge the last gate. Walk out the trap with your dino(if your dino is bigger than the gate this won’t work). Now what I would recommend is leave him alone for a game day. When you’ll come back he is hungry and will eat faster. I also recommend taking a smoothing balm(mobile) the spino likes meat and argentavis kibble. It’s torpor goes down fast so take some biotonic with you. The saddle is on lvl 71. Once it’s tamed. 🔥🔥🔥🔥. It will be the fastest and the strongest Dino you’ll have. Spino>ark(except wild giga)

I’m level 37 and apparently have poor judgement skills. First, I brought only 30 tranq arrows. Next I brought 50. The third time her friend ganged up on me. But now I’m prepared. I’m going to make 100 tranq arrows, I have minor soothing balm, about 100 raw meat, and 50-some bio toxins. Up if you think it’s enough.

To trap it, make a “C” shape out of small stone dino gates, put a large bear trap in the middle and lure the beast in. When the trap snaps, walk behind it and close it in with one final dino gate. To knock it out, I would use a longneck with tranq darts. Make sure you have a LOT of narcotic or bio toxins because this drains torpor significantly faster than a rex.

Do not underestimate their height, on two legs they can reach higher than the stone building height limit, outside of that they are pretty much the best water tame your gonna get, imagine a Sarco on adrenaline. I’ve got 4 of em now and don’t regret getting any of em

Spino is my absolute FAV Dino. I haven’t seen one in ark cus I kinda like to keep to my own little area. There is a spino spawn thing a little farther than I have gone. Should I?

At the time of writing this that tip has 184 likes. Not only was I convinced to tame Hemlock, my beautiful buddy, it gave me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone.

After I tamed Hemlock (who I named after the poisonous water hemlock) I noticed he was getting lonely. So, as any good master would do I decided to find a mate for him so he can stop feeling lonely. I hopped on my ichy, Mint Chocolate, and went for a swim to check out spino spawns by the coast. Wile I did find many promising spinos, none of them where female. At last I checked the last spino spawn I could get too by ichy. Nothing. Hemlock grew even sadder when I returned empty handed. It turned out Charlie, my baby raptor, over heard me talking to Mint about finding Hemlock a friend, then told Hemlock. I was heart broken watching Hemlock pout by the river all day. I checked a map that could show me the locations best to find spinos when I saw something awesome! There was a spino spawn just up the river by my base! I also remember seeing a spino there awhile back. Of course it chased me off before I could really take a good look at it. Immediately, I jumped onto my iguanodon, Nerra. Then road off to the river. As I arrived at the river I took out my spy glass to get a better look, and there she was! A beautiful pink and tan female spino! I noticed then that she was injured. Either way I would of helped her but, this was perfect because it meant less chance of her hurting me and Nerra. It was easy to calm her down with my traqu arrows and cross bow, and with a few narcotics and a lot of fish meat, she became happy with me. Ever since I brought her home Hemlock has been happier then ever. I named her Lilly, and she loves Hemlock and all of our tames.
