I’m a noob let’s just start with that. I sat on a giant boulder with some tranq arrows and was trying to get this grey and green spino away from my base by putting it to sleep and killing it. It only took maybe 7 arrows and it was out (used a crossbow). Went over to it, realized I had raw meat. So I gave it forty, used one narcotic, and ran for my life. Moments later it got up, like I mean it only took a few second to maybe a minute, so I thought “oh it has a high torpor rate maybe it’s already awake”. I decided I was too weak to tame it so I tried to shoot it from the same boulder again but I couldn’t reach so I just left (it was pretty far from my base now). Well, this was a week ago. Today I made a spyglass. I was on my pteranodon and decided to check out what level it was, and it said “tamed to (my name)” couldn’t believe my eyes. I now have a level four spino, not too high but then again I’m level forty so I’m cool with it (it is a spino after all).

This thing gives no mercy at all I was a level 57 on mobile in ark had a couple high level carnos when i say high level I mean high level freaking level 178 carnos I ran at it with hammer my best carno it was his last ride with me he threw me of before he died I hanged that spino still have its head to this day one up for hammer R.I.P😭😭😭😭😭😭

Once I was flying around and found a wild level 60 Spino. I had always really wanted a spino but could never find one. I landed my PT and carfted a foundation and started making narcotics. I made tranq arrows and a bow then flew to the top of a rock. I started shooting the Spino, it charged after me… And then it stood on it’s hind legs.

A while back I tamed a spino. BUT… I had to change my cats litter boxes, so I did. But when I came back my spino was gone but my bird was alive, so how did die you ask? It was killed by a lvl 15 dilo💀

I saw one around my base but its not awfully close to my base but yk i play in easy mode so the max lvl is 30 and the spino is 10 so though of taming it but i cant let it get too close to my base bc my dinos will obliterate it. i saw a lvl 3 theri and i thought "hey a spino can kill a theri right? Besides its a higher level" i was terribly wrong

The spino started to run away and it had like 237 health like WHAT?!?

Had a Spino called snappy Dave once.

I was going to the wilderness to tame a Rex and I ran into an alpha T-Rex. Ran away on tanky Dave (carbenomys) when I saw z at message:

“Your snappy Dave (Spino) was killed by alpha Rex”

Later on I was killed by a carno. Tanky Dave is still there.

I have a spino named speed and when me and my spino went hunting we found a level 100 alpha raptor with the best stats 😨 it could have but I was confident that I could beat it so me and my spino killed it which was surprising because my spino was only a 204 with little heath but a ridiculous amount of damage.

Um so I was just walking out of a valley and ran into a river and this 135 spino showed up (in lvl 29) so I start crouching and hiding but the spino got to my trike. Obviously he killed it and I ran because I didn't want to die but when I turned around to check if the spino was still there we apparently teleported or something (he was in land and there was only one exit where I was so he couldn't have escaped)

One day I was playing mobile then saw a spino I was happy so I tamed him I named him Bobby then I join a tribe so I can find a tribe that can feed him I joined with someone named pat, he said "oh spino" than he killed off my bobby. I left then reported him he’s gone now like he should be. Btw the server name in jungle fever on ark mobile official servers. 1 pray = 1 justice for bobby

me and my friend were trying to tame a dino when a whole spino spawned next our base our hearts disappeared into the shadow realm when we saw it so we made a run for our base then ark has the odacitty to spawn to pegos that steal my 83 tranc arrows so we kill those and the spino gets stuck so we approach it and its actually stuck so we kill it then we go insane after that and quit ark for a while then ark asks me how my experience was.

So I started a new save and was looking for some excitement, and I saw a 105 spino near my base. I immediately got the stupid idea to try and tame it on raptor back knowing full well it's faster than my raptor but oh well didn't have much to lose. I managed to tranq it after a segment of professional kiting and as I was collecting fish prime meat a pirahna bit it once, lost 2 levels and I lost a piece of my soul. It tamed up and killed the alpha raptors surrounding it. I was rewarded with a 180% revolver. I love that spino

I have tamed 8 spinos so far I’m not high level or anything I’m like 38 however,I’d say that’s enough

FYI my level 6 spino killed 2 lvl 17 carnos and a lvl 1 Rex

Back when I was a noob, in the early days of my ARK game, my base was attacked by a level 100 spino. My creatures let loose with everything they had, but in the end, seven of them were killed. I lost a Kapro, two raptors, a turtle, an otter, a carno, and a pteranodon. The spino was at low health, so I chased it into the hills. It jumped into the swamp and kept running as I shot tranq arrows at it, and ultimately was knocked out near the water’s edge at the end of the swamp. I was about to kill it when I considered taming it. So I did, and it lived a long live, and layed an egg with her mate. However, I went out to get meat, and she was attacked by jellyfish in shallow water, and the megalodons finished her off. I ran back to my base, alive, and the egg was about to hatch. I still have the child today, on day 600.

A spino was my sister's and my most recent 'accidental' tame. We didn't have too many materials on us and were mostly just exploring. We perch on a cliff for our pteranodons to restore stamina, and I spot a spino in the water nearby. He was only level 19. I panic a little bit, then ask my sister if she wants to try and knock it out. We start shooting at it (after spending 20 minutes finding a good spot to shoot it) and it SPRINTS AT US AT FULL SPEED. Luckily, it couldn't climb up the cliff. We shoot it for a while and it runs around a corner. We go to investigate and we've knocked it out! This has also happened with a Bronto, a Carno and a Raptor.

i’m still in the lower levels (level 26) and had a Spino inching closer and closer to my base. so i did what any logical person would do and shot it with arrows from above until it came after me and chased me. before this i moved and scattered all my tames to safer areas so they wouldn’t be killed which at the time was my Parasaur, Moschops, and some Dodos. and they all survived. i had it chase me past my base and down a strip of beach and my parasaur Spike almost killed him and took little to no damage. he chased him out into the ocean where i assume he despawned or Megladons killed him off. i’ll never know. but these things are nasty and if you don’t have a game plan. run

Spinosaurus is my FAVORITE! I had one called Victory and these things are BIG. PLEASE consider taming one, it's SUPER easy and it's worth it. Say, I wonder... what if you mixed one with a giga killer?

one day a beach bob was running around killing things with his raptor near a river when he got a tad bit to close to the swamp. The kaprosuchus nearby thought “free meal!” and abducted the bob and killed his raptor. The bob thought he was done for when the kapro suddenly let go and yelped as 2 jaws grabbed ahold of it. it was then eaten by the local spino. the bob ran and ran until he was home and rested.
