I have about 9 or 10 of these bad boys. I started with 2 and breed them now I have unstoppable war party. I was killed a yuti and his carno posse rolled up with my war party and it was over in seconds.

I recommend using a longneck rifle with tranqdarts. Headshots do more physical damage and less torpor. Aim for the sail and the neck. Use argent kibble. Second prime fish, third mutton. When tamed, use a quetzal with a platform saddle to transport it to base.

Once tamed they are an absolute beast. I've talked down countless therizinos and rexes with my 130 perfect tame. If you attack and back up constantly, the knock back will protect you from almost anything besides maybe a giga.

First make sure u have a major soothing balm the feed it fish meat then boom u have a spino (tho mine died getting back home long story short never bring a spino with 870 Ho and no saddle into the ocean)

It make long taming process but it is very power full and speed also

Look, the spino, while stronger is dumber than a parasaur. All you need to do is place some stone walles that have time openings through which only u can fit thru put a ramp on the walls, make sure you have atleast 160 percent speed and lead it into the wall and just tranq it, I took down a level 180 by doing this with a bow.

Everything you should now about the spino

1. Taming. To tame a spino I would recommend getting a flying mount. Make a trap that allows you to fly through it and let's the spino get trapped. The just shoot with arrows or darts

2. Stats. The spinosaurus is a good all around tame thanks to its amazing speed on land and in water. And it being stronger than a rex. It is a really good mid-late game tame.

3. Stance. The spino has 2 different stances which allow for strategic battling. Bipedal mode is when the spino stands on 2 legs and does a slash attack with its arms which is its stronger attack. Quadropedal mode is when the spino stands on all four. Quad mode might have less attack strength but is much faster than the bipedal mode.

4. Buff. When the spino is halfway submerged in water, it gets a water buff which can help in fights.

P.S. don't let your spino attack jellyfish. It will die.

A great way to tame these early if you have a megalodon is to get the trap you have chosen and load it into the megalodon(you may need to upgrade weight some) then get the trap set up and take your megalodon and get some prime fish meat. Where nice you have done this keep the meat in your megalodon because it lasts longer in tames. Then trap the spino and knock it out and feed it the prime fish meat. I would encourage the use of prime fish meat to normal prime meat because it is slightly more and effective ad with the proper setup easier to get.

Trap the spino by making cage i don't know how to build it but see on youtube he it in the cage and then sleep and then tranq it it's food level will be 0

If you think a hundred narcotics are enough to tame this thing, you are sorely mistaken

I tamed a lvl 55 on Valguero. Took about 30-40 Darts and 20 Arrows.

Get on your gali and have someone in the back seat shoot at the spino.

The 10-column strategy doesn’t work; it runs away and you can’t shoot. RIP to my two pterosaurs that were following me when I fell off.

The ultimate beast for fighting the megapithigas

For noobs just get to high ground and spam tranq arrows with a bow recommendation-acendant and make sure you have sooving balm x10-15 done and then make sure you have a pertodon.

And congratulations you have a spino (but to bad you don't have a saddle unless you got it from a advent)

I tamed this guy using tranq arrows and bio toxins. If you use narcotics you must also have to you prime meat or smoothing balm but with bio toxins you can you fish meat and raw meat. About 35 bio toxins should be a enough

When Tamed they are like the iguanodons big brother which u can use 2 legs (slower but stronger) or 4 legs (Faster but weaker) and oh boi this guy is good in the swamps since titanoboas,barys,sarcos and kapro something will not agro to you if are only riding the spino and one more thing,this bad boy can get a lot of prime meat all you need to do is go to the swamp find a paracetheium or a lot of titanoboas and just go to 2 legs mode and kill all of them to get frickin 100 in 32 mins in my experience and basically it has a buff where if it's in a body of water (rain doesn't work)it's gets super strong that's why they bad boi can supply u some prime meat but it is bad on land (not on shores)
