The ultimate guide to Spinosaurus
They can be found on The Island, The Center, Ragnarok, Extinction, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Lost Island, and Fjordur
There is also an Aberrant Spinosaurus that spawns on Aberration, Valguero, Crystal Isles, and Fjordur
There is also an X Spino that spawns on Genesis Part 1 (they should spawn on Lost Island but they are exclusive to Genesis Part 1)
They get a hydration buff when they touch water
Their saddle can be unlocked at level 71
They are immune to the Baryonyx’s Tail Spin
They have a quadrupedal and bipedal stance (They deal more damage in bipedal stance but move faster in quadrupedal stance)
I constructed a 3x3x3 stone doorway trap with wooden ramps to give him something to whack at while I pumped him full of tranqs.
I tamed a lvl 300 with cooked meat, wheres my prize
I jist build a new base and now theres a random max level ( level 150 btw ) casually chilling near my base iam only level 20 why ark gods why and to make things worse its also being babysitted by alpha carno which ia level 45 Bruhhhhhhhhh
While I was knocking this guy to tame him he suddenly ran away SO FREAKING FAST HE SHOVED HIS HEAD IN A CLIFF. Good thing he hit a cliff because if not, it would be day 1000 and me and my argy would still be chasing after him.
I got two Spinos and that too at level 28. You just have to find a space between two rocks where you can easily pass but Spinos could
It's harder than it sounds but it works for me.
Love&Power here… I got that spino.😎 she’s level 210, and an absolute beast. Early game made easy.
Okay so, I have a spino egg. I don’t know the BEST way to hatch it. Does anyone have any tips to help me out with?
These are NOT AGGRESSIVE they are territorial! The difference between the two is that you can be in the sight of a territorial creature but not in its territorial range and it will care less. Aggressive will attack ON SIGHT an move around. Different animals have different territorys actually casteroids are territorial. There territory is just around the dam and is very small.
If you are looking for a spino go look around the river(s) near the green platform
If you have a direbear with good health you can tank the hits while you shoot from its back and catch it when it runs away.
According to me, spino is better than rex, I am saying this because it is a beast in underwater and it is also a beast on land.
Um so the 5 people that upped the one about lvl 2 male spino,
I managed to tame him!KO in water, he didn’t drown, 71% taming each fish, it was worth it! Now I have my 3rd best carnivore! Very happy, I was TERRIFIED! :) go check me out on YT

:D pls sub, it would mean a lot!
BRING A LOAD OF NARCOTICS. I cannot stress this enough. Their torpor drain rate is high and will go down very fast. I tamed a level ten and he took 150+ narcotics honestly you can't bring enough narcotics. Take as many narcotics as possible. Bring bio toxin only if you have access to it. Narcotics work great though!
Don’t go for water when it chases you, I learned that the hard way. ._.
Just use a tapajara to cling to the surface of a cliff, and shot the spine at the bottom. Super easy and does not require a trap. Tamed a level 140 this way.
Build yourself a taming pin, 5×5 floor, either use stone dino gate or wooden ramps for entry and use stone door frame or pillar built 3-4x tall, to ensure you don't get attack. Meanwhile taming it with a bow/cross with tranq arrow use their preferred taming food and always have Narcs to feed it.
