These boys are every where on genesis 2 they spawn at rivers or Rockwell cave

Want to know what their color regions are for certain parts of their body? Wiki says there are no colors for the regions but clearly, they have colors.

If you spawned near a decent cliff, that works. I just had to shoot at the spino with a crossbow and tranq arrows- I forgot how many, but bring at least 50 just in case. it has very high torpor, and it was halfway in the water. I used about- hmm, maybe 30- 40 narcotics? I was just being safe, but it’s best to be prepared. Bring a lot- 50-80. I brought around 90-100. I swam to it with a sarco and used the sarco as a temporary boat to tend to the sleeping spino. I did this at around level 30- it’s not too difficult if you have a decent cliff.

Knocked out a level 15 with 30-40 tranq arrows. Taming it now! WAR MACHINE I TELL YA. ITS BEEN 10 MINS. STILL NOT FULLY HEALED.

I tamed a lvl 12 spino and used normal meat.

It almost woke up so be sure to use prime meat

To get above him or her and shoot with Tranquilizer darts

The easiest way to keep it asleep is killing jellyfish and using bio toxins

How to tame:

1: Find a cliff to knock out from

2: Once it is knocked out, give it fish/raw/prime meat

3: Eliminate any threats

4: Enjoy your new spino!

Guys all I can say about these guys is DONT TAME THEM BELOW LEVEL 130. Below level 130, their health isn’t that good, they are slow for a fast creature, and their melee is really only good for gathering hide and meat from fish and other useless herbivores. Speaking of fish, at low level megs will tear these guys to shreds during your underwater explorations. However, a level 135-150 wild will make the best non-giga tame to ever walk the ark

Spinosaurus are good to kill Rex’s

Tame a spino lvl 180 u will only 90 lvl's :/

Everyone says this is better then Rex's and they are, but they are a tank for hits like get a level 250 one and you'll see what I mean because I had 8 rex and 5 spinos when I was fighting the broodmother and believe me if it wasn't for the Rex's I had all my 150 and 200 Spinos would be dead

Easy, Just get a large bear trap or two and place ‘‘em down and aggro it and make it follow you into bear trap and then knock it out (Better with group of people shooting it with tranqs at once) then feed it prime fish meat for fast tame (kill and harvest saber tooth salmon meat with sickle).

As others have already pointed out, the values for raw mutton are off. You need more mutton & narcotics!

I now tamed a 112 Spino on Aberration with 2x taming multiplier. I used mutton only and it ate 30-40 raw mutton (opposed to the 27 calculated). Each piece gave ~3% taming progress, so it finished with ~92% Taming effectiveness. I got 51 bonus levels (calculator said 53).

What you should take away from this: raw prime fish is faster than mutton and as it seems (needs confirmation) produces atleast as many bonus levels as mutton.

Make a 2x2 pen with dino gates but leave one of the sides open, shoot the spino and wait for It to get in the pen. Close the open side with one dino gate and you have a knocked out spinosaurus

I'm taking a lvl 17 spino rn I used a argy to get on a high rocks with tranq arrows to knock it out and bio toxins to keep it asleep so I don't have to farm for narcotics

I believe Spinos May be bugged right now. Tried to tame two today, both level 280. First one, drew it on to land, knocked it out and put Argie kibble on it and it sank through the ground and out of my reach. I stuck around to see if it might tame anyway and I might be able to recover it. It died due to “drowning” under ground. :(. It took one bite before drowning and got to 1% tame. Second one, pulled it up a hill, knocked it out and put kibble on it as well. Supposedly takes 4 bites of Argie kibble on our sever (15x taming). Each bite gave 1% taming. Fed it a few drugs to keep it asleep and after 4 bites, I stopped drugging it and it woke up. :/

The mutton taming is wrong tried it twice now and got only to 80%

If you do happen to find one and you want it it’s agro rang is soooooo small so do the best you can lure it to a beach eara if you not already there find a rock it can’t get up and light it up with drugs
