Tamed a spino on 3x with mutton, and the time and narcotic needed was quite a bit off. Needs an update.

Run away from water if it sees you

Great for abb cause a trilbite run gave us easilly 3k chitin and tons of oil and silca

Taming a lvl60 and it says 33 mutton on x1 and mine are 33 and only at 81.1% done.

Think it might be off.

Very hard to knock out on Rag, unless you can trap it, which is a pain because it gets distracted by everything.

Guys all I can say about these guys is DONT TAME THEM BELOW LEVEL 130. Below level 130, their health isn’t that good, they are slow for a fast creature, and their melee is really only good for gathering hide and meat from fish and other useless herbivores. Speaking of fish, at low level megs will tear these guys to shreds during your underwater explorations. However, a level 135-150 wild will make the best non-giga tame to ever walk the ark

Spinosaurus are good to kill Rex’s

Tame a spino lvl 180 u will only 90 lvl's :/

Everyone says this is better then Rex's and they are, but they are a tank for hits like get a level 250 one and you'll see what I mean because I had 8 rex and 5 spinos when I was fighting the broodmother and believe me if it wasn't for the Rex's I had all my 150 and 200 Spinos would be dead

Easy, Just get a large bear trap or two and place ‘‘em down and aggro it and make it follow you into bear trap and then knock it out (Better with group of people shooting it with tranqs at once) then feed it prime fish meat for fast tame (kill and harvest saber tooth salmon meat with sickle).

I was chopping down a tree and suddenly a spoon started killing all my dodos I ran into my house

It was made out of hatch so the spin-off started attacking my house and it wrecked it . I’ll never go far of into the beaches again

Really Easy Tame. They usually spawn in South zone 1,2

Step-1 First get the resources before hunting them get 10-15 narcotics and and bring some prime raw fish meat

(You get them by fishing) just make sure it doesn't spoil

Step -2 Get On A High rock with your tame you will need it when spino is fleeing because of the torpor. They run really fast

Step-3 keep shooting with tranq crossbow bring a lot of arrows make sure there is not other spino around

Step- 4 Feed it raw fish meat I'm assuming you are hunting 30-50 lvl it should take about 10 minutes I still recommend feeding it some narcotics

Name it razorback

Boom you have a spino now!

They refuse to respond on Lost Island

For all who are saying the recommendations for creatures narcotics is wrong the narcotics recommendation IS FOR A SERTON LEVEL! Look by the name of the creature at the top and next it will say lvl *something* u can edit that so the tranqu and narcotics recommendation is correct. Higher level of dinos need more to feed and knock so remember that! ;)

They are hard to tame due to their speed and topor drop rate but it worth it if you tamed one

With high health and DAT SPEED combine with the damage it deal per hit and attack speed you basically got yourself a exp farming machine or meat farming machine or to be short is a killing machine

Also they are the reason why you should avoid building house near beaches and river except the cliff, they safe... most of the time

I was restarting my game and as I spawned 2 deadly spino was near a base location where i usually like to put a base so i left them cuz i was building further away from them killed titanobo- the spinos were right beside my thatch base I take a bow and killed the female on accident I was gonna shoot but my mind also said stop chasing the spino or your wasting arrows so I let go of my arrow one last time and oops I wasn't paying attention but I killed it Yay I have free levels but the Male was scared

My Spino doesn’t swim fast, Any help? I thought they were supposed to be fast in water

This man is a killer and he will kill in seconds

This is kinda hard to say but is a great EARLY game tame

All you gotta do is Dilo pursuit or dire war and megapirahna pursuit that will get you a weapon for tranq and balm it may be a bit hard though.-lava
