Just use a tapajara to cling to the surface of a cliff, and shot the spine at the bottom. Super easy and does not require a trap. Tamed a level 140 this way.

According to me, spino is better than rex, I am saying this because it is a beast in underwater and it is also a beast on land.

Do not tame a Spino. Tame two and breed them. Tamed spinos are good. Imprinted spinos have zero chill. Hands down my favorite mount on land. Crazy fast (can out run gigas) do great damage, especially with the hydrated buff and they're super stamina efficient. The Rex can be a bit more tanky, but tank doesn't matter when you're slapping down Rexes like they're dilos.

Go on a cliff have a simple rifle at hand shoot it with tranqs and have a fly boy so you can go down I used 15 prime meat I play Xbox so yeah great experience.

Do not think you have any chance against it with a few simple tames and a sword as I used my two brontosaurus’s(Barry and Garry) and Barry had to watch Garry die in front of him. Barry then got murdered by a few allosaurus’s and so did I but the spoon did the most damage. One up is one RIP for Barry and Garry

Genesis X-Spinos are worth the tame. They are like Bog Rexes that can swim. If you try to tame it, be careful to build a trap higher than normal Dino gates made of stone with a ramp on one side. This Dino needs Behemoth gates to fit through them, so anything smaller than that, but a bit larger than a Dino gate will do. Had one get stuck in my standard Dino gate trap, but it jumped out once it’s torpor got high and it found an area of gate that wasn’t perfectly level with the others and jumped right over and ran off. Taming with standard gates is possible, only if they are perfectly level with each other. Having a trap made of stone fence supports and door frames stacked super high will make escape impossible. Pillars work too, but make sure it can’t slip through them.

These are just my favorite ever. The creature design is awesome, and the super powerful bipedal mode is amazing. They dish out powerhouse levels of damage, and are very fast. As an old time player, I’ve just always loved these. I need a couple of these around my base even if I’m not using them. They’re my babies.

If you want to tame a Spino, use a typical 4x4 trap, and if possible, lure it with a Pteranodon or Argentavis and put it in the trap. You can probably use a tranquilizer arrow, but tranquilizer bullets are more effective. Once you put it to sleep, put meat, marbled meat, fish meat, otoro, and kibble in your inventory. You can also get food locally. The unlock level for the saddle is 71.

Its really strong and powerful i just killed group of 5 allosaurus more powerful and bigger than rex

The Spinosaurus is the most underrated creature and the Rex is the most overrated creature.

I just tamed it by going on a high cliff with my pteranadon then shooting it with my crossbow, then doing the usual meat and narcotics. However it was killed shortly after by a bronto. R.I.P Haddasah.

When you get a spino, you instantly have more power than master chief and hulk as well as Godspeed. these are also very espasy to tame.

Here’s a tip if you encounter a spino near your base of you have big rocks in between you and the spino you can actually partially trap it and shoot it down as spinos can’t climb big mountains nor get through big rocks (few)

spinosaurus is alarmingly fast on land and, in water. they are deadly but, easily avoidable. they only reside in rivers and lakes, they can sacrifice speed for strength as they can stand up to deal much more damage, allowing them to plow through weaker dinos such as trikes or allo's, and can easily tear through a rex with minimal effort. 8.7 for its great speed and need to bish slap just about anything with a pulse, while being a good way to body an enemy rex just by slapping it.

If you want a lot of fish meat then you NEED to tame this! It can make 144 fish meat from one megalodon
