Just tank it and run around in circles until almost past out and it will start running so you have to chase it down for a little while!

I would suggest only using the freeze ability when you are in desperate measures. I had a snowy called Frozone and I got into a bit of trouble on extinction, I basically almost died but luckily I hid behind a crevis in the wall and regened my health and managed to fight off the rest of the raiders. The bite attack is powerful but most of the time your mainly going to be using the snowy for swooping down and collecting drops from the drop pods when someone finished it, use a whip as well, very important.

They are a bit slower than the griffin but they gave higher stamina plus they have more abilities that can sbine in both pve and pvp, so i guess its a win in my book

Always take high level owls when you find them because owls and managarmr will usually almost never spawn when you go looking to tame one later.

It can still fly even when bolad

Great for PvP, Heals soakers in a min or two with right click or freeze enemies to gain a second of advantage, five bomb to slow them so you could get off and bola them. Good luck!

If you make a trap with a roof and get the owl to fly in when it’s agroed on you then you have it in the bag

Have a Snow owl behind your soaker while taming and when the soaker gets low wistle to follow them when it’s out of turret rang heal soaker with snow owl then repeat till your enemy’s base is destroyed:)

This animal is the best tame in the game. Its own feces tames the 2nd best tame in extinction. The capabilities of this tame are quiet amazing with its freezing dive bomb and dive glide from the griffin along with the shield of ice that has an aoe effect to not only freeze but heal both enemies, players, tames, and wilds. This allows for you to protect yourself from others or heal up tames like the doedic did but better. It also has thermal vision allowing one to see every lifeform at night while flying which is great for finding that animal you’d tryin to tame or to find someone in their base. Yes you can see through walls with this and the scouter. It also carries the basic abilities of a argy with reduced weight and healing from eating carcasses and providing you with a good amount of health and dmg. I recommend a meat eater like the velonisuar first so you have some way to get meat for it

They have pretty good torpor so let them get hungry before you give them food. They'll tame right away! And you won't have to waste any food cause they eat it all at once! Good luck!

Sneaky megalosaurus in certain maps spawn outside of caves (e.g. lost island tundra). Using the snow owls you can detect them in the morning while they're sleeping! They'll look like a curled up chicken in the heat vision.

i wasted like 50-80 tranq arrow on 135 level snow owl and i didnt even use any trap i putted my argentavis on passive so the owl attackes it but he ran away i chased the owl with argentavis a bit and when the owl go down to rest i tranq arrowd it again and he went to sleep and thats how u tame snow owl like a man

Just net gun it, stun it and give it food just be careful because most of the time they are in groups of 3-5

Using a net projectile is by far the easiest way to tame these. Be careful to not kill it because it does have reasonably low-ish health.
