Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a sinomacrops? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a sinomacrops.
I’ve tamed a few now and the best thing I’ve realized to use is a raft because they get scared of other dinos
Passive tame with chitin don't wear chitin armor you're gonna get killed
When close to shore please don’t be like me and let it fly far away over the water after feeding it. Bring a raft and drive it about 40 meters from the sinomacrops, it should hopefully notice you and land on the raft.
Question: how come when I get a sinomacrops 76% tamed, it dies randomly and falls out of the sky?
In the cords 56.2 lat and 44.7 Lon there is a big cave that can have up to 10-20 sinamacrops but there is a slight problem some of them are in the walls and because you’re in a cave you got to find a spot to tame hope this helps!

Everybody likes a organic jet pack, here’s how to find one! ; of course you need some supplies but there’s not much that this lil guy wants other than chitin, however do not WEAR the chitin as it will aggro onto you and become rabid real quick, put it in your last hot bar slot, and head to the green obelisk; then look at the desert then go down the mountain of the green obelisk toward the desert, then you will find yourself in a forest, turn left and go uphill slightly and proceed until you spot a sino, if you think it doesn’t see you get a little closer too it, but go by your gut, when it lands in front of you proceed to feed it; it will fly away, but it will ALWAYS come back for more, the only reason it won’t come back is eithor because it was killed, or just got stuck on something preventing it from coming back, keep feeding it until it’s tamed! Take care!
When incubating eggs, you should use about 6 air conditioners. While raising, it's inventory space goes up a lot, so you can put plenty chitin in it as a baby. When you go offline, it's best to put it in a cryo pod before they need care. Do this so nothing goes wrong.
Easy quetzal and giga tames
Valley 60, 51 high level spawns. Just waited for it to fly back tome, feed it chitin and I have a level 145
6 standing torches 1 wooden sign op trap don't feed until the traps made. Place the 6 torches around its body like a two at front feet match at the back and counter the sides accoringly this will cage it then 1 wooden sign close enough for sign to be covering the top hole between the torches :) up so people see

I love this little baby. When you see one make sure you have chicken in your zero slot get on the ground and wait for him or her to crawl up to you and feed when option is Available. Depending on the server that you’re depends on how long it takes to tame but usually you would watch it fly away after being fed and you follow it around but not too close and it will fly back down to you and you continue doing that until it’s tamed. Best suggestion would be to go to your tame section and highlight the sino so you don’t lose track of where it’s going
Have fun

I haven’t seen anyone mention that these things will sometimes just take the heck off and you have to follow it 800 meters away, maybe grappling it will help
They also spawn in the desert revines and this is where I prefer to tame them cause you clear out the aria then find on then you got a tek suit.
Make sure you kill all unwanted sinomacrops of the area before you start taming your desired one, because if one gets scared all in the area gets scared too. Also the ideal distance is 20 - 30 meters away and clear view, if it flies into the ocean get a raft so it can land on it.
Don’t try to tame wearing ghille. I know, not chitin either, but I’ve found in ghille they won’t be able to find you to come back to you between feeds. I tried to tame a dozen and they would starve and lose taming progress while I waited and tried to get them to come back to be fed. Took ghille off and my next attempt worked perfectly. No ghille!
Tamed two 145s at 57 - 51.
Was able to stand still until about 80% and then followed them in the 100-50% range from there.
Baby Sino eats Chitin just like the adults. Make sure it is in your nanny inventory or add it to the baby yourself. Nanny will try to give mammal milk or spoiled milk if in her inventory. Those will not work. Mammal milk only works if force fed.
When taming, stay about 50 meters away at all times until you see it fly towards you. Stay still and wait until it hops near you to feed it.
To tame, use a wooden cage and stand inside of it. They will come to you. Once inside, close the door and passive tame with Chitin in your last slot. It will not fly away and it still counts as being outdoors.
