Sarcos use an incredible amount of food while doing pretty much anything. Will eat an entire stack of meat in just one good fight. Really bad mount because of food waste, they do better unmounted. But if they are unmounted they get stuck on everything? What you mean underrated?

Very fast in the water, not so fast on land. It can even swim through the swamp, which makes it a deadly mount or opponent. The main reason i tamed one of these is that it is the only swimming mount that you can use a spyglass on. It also is pretty strong and has decent melee damage.

There is a weird glitch where if you bite a lystro or dodo, sometimes it’ll push in under the ground and you will never see said small Dino ever again.

These guys are great for taking into the swamp and rivers, they are fast and powerful and have a med size AoE so they are good for leech hunting. They have decent stam so they are good for fishing and hunting in the water, always good to chase things into the water so you can easily catch up and eat them.

So what you're telling me is that this thing cannot fit through a dino gate but a t rex can?

Ok so sarco very op it killed my lvl 4 para so I got my revenge! So I tried to attack it almost killed me so I ran away and then the sarco was fighting one of those beaver things and the beaver won so if u have a sarco prob tame a beaver and u a.ok

One of those things keep killing me and also killed my 2 dilows and my raptor

Ok so, get a lvl 14 Dodo a few stone arrows and a stone spear, easy sarco kill

If you want chitin and keratin just take these guys and plenty of bullets and/or arrows

Mad slow just use a crossbow even on 1x you can outrun it and tranq that jawn. Usually they are around swamps and if you are taming one for long I suggest putting wood spikes around it to protect it while taming

As much as I love sarcos, they are completely overshadowed by the Deinosuchus (which is modded but since everyone can use mods now in ASA you should be playing with it). Sarcos are in dire need of a tlc, right now their greatest utility is their speed in water, but since they are land creature as well they dont get omnidirectional movement so they have very poor vertical movement speed. Sarcos also have too wide of a turning radius, the only way they remedy this is their flip around attack but only works well in increments of 90 degrees it seems. They are strong early game and after that they really aren’t great.

This killed three of my parasaurs, Pararite, Pararitey, and Tek Parary as well as me, of course.

Never go near it if you don't want to tame it.

Ok if you wana git rid of these things it is actually easy. I heard you could just kill them by circling them and hitting them in the tail. Well it’s true. So I had this really annoying 🤬 Sarco by my home and I just avoided it until... so I was taming a pair of moshops on a sandbar by my home and well after I finished I started to head home when I saw the menace. He chanced me and my poor poor babies. I ran as fast as I could but he chanced me and my new pets they led him to me and I was cornered so I was like this guys got to go. I took out my ax and I ran and hit him from behind. It worked!! I kiled him and he gave me a TON of good loot. So if u noob and have this pest use this tip. like so noobs to see!

Don't go to deep in the ocean with them the water pressure knocks them out I learned that the hard way.:(

Trying to tame one can someone put down how to trap them they run into the water and are gone

I don't know how accurate it is but they poison you.Beyond that, people can take you off your mount. So don't try to fight them with an Argy. Apart from that they are quite weak, they do nothing at all to Rex, MegaTherium and other such mid game tames.

To tame u hav to be over lvl 30 or not get tranquil arrows and keep shooting at or do what I did and keep punching it until it goes unconscious
