I just tamed my first one. It took 10 tranq arrows. But that was after I had already used about 15 or 30 regular arrows to lower her health so that I wouldn't use as many tranq arrows, because they are hard to come by until you can make them at level 21. This dino would be a great underwater rider for "beginners" if the saddle for was available before level 35. But it is a good defence animal to have especially if you live on the beach. Good luck to anyone trying to tame them. Any meat will work to tame it after you knock it out but fish is the preferred food of this creature.

I have played ark for 60 days and you should make sure it is attacking a Titanoboa and stand about 20 feet away shoot it with tranq arrows about 15 or 10 some times depending on the level while this is happening it will not attack you if it does keep at least 10 15 feet then once it is almost knocked out might it will start to run if it does chase it and shoot it about 2 more times if it doesn’t run keep running backwards shooting it once it is knocked out feed it about 60 meat if it runs out of meat it’s taming will quickly go down once it is tamed I would take a saddle if you do not have a dinosaur to ride home I would not take a dinosaur because it might try to attack your Dino if you are take very a very good Dino because my sarco level 84 died to a sarco level 84 luckily I tamed it a few days later and now I have a beast sarco level 131 and I almost can one shot level 20 trikes and I tried it on a training dummy and it did 6,700 damage I hope this is helpful.

Knock it out with Tranq arrows that what I did then shove some meat into the darn crock that boom done

This is the best water creature I have gotten 10/10

On mobile these things are like immune to piranhas

They will swim close to you and go back

They don’t bite you

So this may or may not be a bug but sarcos get hungry way too fast may it be a tiny sprint or just by attacking, because its food bar runs out fast. I recommend getting a bunch of stacks of meat if you're planning on taking one out for a walk or a hunt.

Just lure them to a dodo and attack the sacro's tail so you can get the full xp and if u r lucky you can get metal tools, bow and tramq arrows. (Ngl they are pretty easy)

Get an army of these bois and some raptors and not much will get through your base

What is best map to tame sarcos on

This is so powerful but It did not kill my level 3 dodo it did a lot of bites but still my dodo did not die

My tribe on PVP tames 20+ sarcos at a time on rag then makes a raft then we are set for grinding

So guys I’m going to be completely honest. A sarco isn’t super powerful. It swims in water great. It should be used as a beginner water tame and not much else :/ spinos are much better tames for that and their not that hard to tame in a trap so idk it’s up to you.

Ps, don’t be afraid f big creatures it always is anticlimactic. DONT USE THIS TIP FOR GIGA! THEY ARE THE DEFFINITION OF POWER!
