These guys everywhere on red peak like I went there and found a bunch but when I bolas them it kept on breaking so I recommend making a trap then Trang them then prime meat but normal meat ok as well so this guy would be a great tame

What you will need to tame:

Bola, tranq arrows/darts meat practically any meat works including fish meat (you can cook it too!)

1. Find a saber :D

2. Bola it they are usually in a pack of 2-5 so carefully choose

3. Knock it out (be careful with tranq arrows bc it can kill them)

4. FEED IT

5. Now you have a saber tooth

Prime Meat can tame it in 4 minutes or less.

They often fall off cliffs leaving them wandering the beaches alone and effortless to tame. Just needed 2 bolas and not many tranq arrows to catch a 150. Torpor goes down slowly so it doesn't require anything but taming food.

Such an easy tame idk why I've never had one before. Maybe cause I'm a dog person. Can't wait to chase other Bobs with this though. :)

Guys don't make the same mistake as me I didn't check dodder when I first tried to tame a saber(island). I used a slingshot just don't use it you'll killed the saber..

My advice for taming would’ve definitely be a bola with Trank arrows or darts

Once tamed it’s really great for hunting, fighting, and works really well in a pack!

Bruh just get on yo Paracer or anything bigger and tranq it down while standing safely on top. No need for platform too.

These cats are easy to tame, they go down to the mighty bola and alternatively can be carried by an Argentavis to a taming pen. In my experience they usually go down after 3-5 tranquilizer darts (results may vary).

Funny how it say it takes 3 bronto kibble for lvl 19 saber i tamed it only with one bronto kibble and I didnt make it starve i gave it as soon as I K.O it

These guys live in the mountains, red peak, far peak, tooth mountain, just go on a rock and shoot them with tranqs, make sure you kill the ones that you don’t want that is in a pack and keep desired one you want, then shove some kibble or meat up their butt and you have your very own kitty!

To tame a sabertooth in dead island, just build a taming raft out of stone, go to dead island, aggro it, and lead it into the taming pen. Use tranqs to knock it out. You can tame a whole army of those using a pen.

Make a pen the same kind you use for gigantos the monkey. Made of fence foundation and doorframes wood is good and drop it in start shooting make sure the pen is safe from anyone or thing like inside base as they cant damage wood so nothing will aggro
