Sabertooth or direwolfs is best for cave

Some people like sabertooth and some like direwolfs

In reality every dino is best in his way so don't compare any dino with other

I got an lvl 250 with near to 10k health it makes over 200 damage per hit very good for cafes like massive or clever

On raptor back, crossbow with tranq arrows.

I've yet to find a faster wild anything, than my raptor. lol

Just recently it got a remodel.it should be worth taming now.plus different animations.

Use tranq darts! I tamed a lvl 80 with tranq arrows and when she finally fell unconscious she was at 50 health!

I would only use a sabertooth for collecting a bunch of hide mid game and casually patrolling around your base

The place I have the most luck finding sabers is at that big rock by brawlers bay

A sabertooth is a very good early game option but many player like myself find it hard to tame.

An easy way to tame it is to trap it first,a easy trap is a stone 4x4 with door frames with some ramps to get it in the trap.

After you get it in the trap and knock it out you can feed it meat but I recommend finding a lamp to kill and get raw lamp meat you can find lamps in the mountains but they are pretty rare to find.

Grab a tranq gun, man up, and go the redwood forest to tame one.

Can't pick up in mobile with an argy even though it's supposed to be able to. Please fix mobile.

Don’t try to battle one of these without a tame(or good armor) because your dead on the spot

If your ever looking for a good, easy to tame hide gatherer then tame the sabertooth.

Narcotics are essential, even though it says that narcotics are not needed definitely use some. I ended up having to panically administer narcotics to the Sabertooth(lvl 3) because it I was about to wake up

I would use tranq darts to knock out whenever I use arrows I kill it.

One of the best tames in the game. I watch my brother when he plays. He breeds his high levels to make more. Any low levels wander in groups of four. And they collect their own meat. They also protect his property. Sabertooths are the BEST!!!!
