I have a big theory everyone! After you beat Rockwell, theres a cutscene where your on a ship and you see a Rockwell tentacle, then the screen goes black. The story line is mixed up, the island is where you go after you crashed due to Rockwell. After you wake up on Island, you of course have the Overseer in your wrist. My theory is that Rockwell created most of the bosses in a lot of maps except for the Overseer. If it weren't for the Overseer, possibly all the bosses would be roaming like wild dinos instead of plain summoning them. Plus, I think the Overseer saved you from dying to the crash, but you dont know that. The Overseer is the one who trapped the Bosses in the terminals. I think that because the things that tower above it have the Overseer mark in it. So, maybe you were traveling off real earth but then Rockwell spotted you and the next thing you know is your on a strange island, you look at your wrist and you have the Overseer in it. The Overseer saved you, and a lot of lives. Or, maybe, when the screen goes black I think that you didnt crash, maybe the Rockwell tentacle grabbed you and didnt destroy the ship and maybe nobody noticed. But that's just a theory, a game the- yeah I'm not him.
Ps I never destroyed any of the bosses..

More Rockwell Utility Tips
Considering he’s a boss, there’s not much utility to him, other than getting bonus levels from Aberrant Ascensions.
Though if you think about it, Rockwell (before at least) had a ton of utility. He made all of the cooking recipes (as suggested by the Rockwell notes that are somehow everywhere), and it’s heavily implied that he made a good portion of the technology available to you in Aberration.
Still, what a sad and twisted way to go for probably my favourite character in all of ARK: Survival Evolved’s storyline.
