The best way to tame it on any map is use a flyer (or bloodstalker) put it right out of reach were your not to far to were it throws rocks but not to close were it hits you if you have a wingsuit glide away immiditly after dismounting the elemental will be focused on your flyer or bloodstalker. Try to set up a trap around it or just take the risk of knocking it with out a trap
Rock elementals can throw rocks
Yes, they are on extinction. In the desert dome, they take the form of rubble golems. They are extremely common as a guard for the desert titan terminal. Rubble golems have less health though so they can easily be taken out by a good velonsaur or managarmr. They give the same loot as the big one though, so get farming.
Just tame arthopluera and put a saddle and knock it cause nothing will harm u when on a arthopluera
it will eat your dreams if you don't take it on the first try
Em boys love spike traps if u have trouble aiming canon place spike wall to have it aggro that for a good headshot
Dododex is wrong, it only takes 11 cannonballs for a 150 and that's messed me up twice and I ended up with less taming effectiveness.
Does not take mantis kibble no more
Although wild card would most likely make this a passive tame, it is not.
I thought golems were gonna be hard as til now I got 5 and another one getting tame I'm so excited.
If you tame one, call it Pebbles, level it to 300 ( if possible), PvP, and proceed to server-wipe.
If you stone tame a 150 on official, you are legend
If you shoot rocky boi while trying to knock out he will lose taming effectiveness
Put 3 metal dino gates down in an open square and kite the golem into then use cannon to down
When knocking out a high level rock elemental, make sure the last shot is aimed from the side. When shooting straight into its head, the cannon ball goes through its head and deals extra damage to its body which will start the taming effectiveness 90% instead of 100% if it isn't done from the side on the last shot.
If the earth shakes and you see a moving rock. Don't try to tame it. Don't save your animals. Or your home. Just run.
