They are really rare and spawn only on the island and lost island

You need two of these to start the process.

-1 you kill to get the pheromone.

-2 the one you’re actually going to tame.

You can use any Dino but Rex is your best bet having one tamed as tamed is the only creature it works with. Then you have to have your tame close to where you know a female is or the ability to lead it back to it. Once you have female close by either you or another tribe mate can force feed the pheromone to the target Dino. Then you have to bring the females health down to about 10% or less and ice she is there and the target Dino is close with the pheromone she will then target and lay her egg in the target Dino and fly off.

There’s about a 10 minute window before the baby merges like the reaper king and in that time you may have to feed the baby everything including the kitchen sink. The one we did wanted element, black pearls, absorbent, kibble. You will also have to feed the target Dino as well as the health drops very fast. We did not test daedon or owl healing yet so no word how that works from me.

When the time expires it’s much like the reaper king being born.

Note: can’t prove it caused the map to crash but we were trying this on gen2 and every time a baby was born the map would crash. Spawn ins and bring to map had no effect but appeared to be tied to a being born.

While it is tamed like a reaper remember it has much less health than it so be careful while taming this bug

The raising calculator on this creature is not the same as the game.. on ASA it's lil over 5 hrs for the preg and no baby stage..

Use a magnifying glass as quick as possible to take away the lowest number in its health that should be around 10%

OMG, this thing is so hard to find. I’m still searching for it after hours of searching in the areas they spawn and killing everything so that it has enough spawn area, but to NO AVAIL. Do not try to tame if you hate grinding, cause you will throw you computer out the window in a rage quit.

If you have one of these, you’ll never need a trap again for taming other dinos, just ride this and shoot your tranqs from the air

An easy way to avoid aggro is to either take or have a yuty with/on you, if it's aggroed to anything but a kapro or paracer, you can fear roar and make it go away.

By far these things are more rare than finding Catcher, Gina's, and even Unicorns, I saw 1 ONCE doubled back with my snow owl with pred vision and its just gone, I wasn't aware they could teleport like Shadowmanes🗿

Got one of their saddle in a drop but in ragnarok so they may be on that map too

Im not a pro but i can give u some tips you can use a pistol with a scope to dmg the female rhyniognatha and make sure ur on a safe spot for a safer success rate

First time i tamed pteranodon.. i ride my pteranodon & enter in swamp… suddenly its comes & kill my pteranodon 😭

Best thing for this is probably a pheromone dart. Also, in my opinion, do not kill females unless they have impregnated your dino
