This might be a harder way but I’ve tamed two rexs so far with this method, one died though and as I was taking another it was eaten by sharks cuz it went in the water but I’m taking one right now. So the tip is to get in a griffin get out ur longneck and go ham on that baby. Griffins move left and right to do you can almaanis manouver around and keep hitting him. You never get touched and if the rex starts running away just use the birds speed

My tribe of 3 people just knocked out a level 145 with just boomerangs... Took about an hour. The only strategy you need is to run around.

if you can get to a high vantage point and the rex cant hit you then you can jusy tranq it, no problem

i have about 12 rex's how get under there body and traq if out our just shoot it and rek his face

I suggest using a taming raft. There are several tutorials on YouTube on good taming raft builds.

When taking it, make sure nothing can get to it. Put spikes or gates up around it to make sure it doesn’t get killed, it doesn’t help to get the Rez killed. As for knocking out the Rex, the simple and safe strategy might be to use a flier and fly above the Rex and have your buddy Tranq it, this way you won’t get hurt. Just make sure you don’t don’t run out of stamina.

Run around it’s feet when wanting to knock it out this allows the Texas turning radius to keep spinning round while you knock it out

Easiest method is find a behemoth gate wall, find an opening, and shoot away. Easiest by far and they can't hit you. All you have to do is then wait.

If your speed is above 120 and your stamina is above 180 you’ll be able to outrun a wild Rex. I’m around 200 Stam and 130 speed. You can keep running away and shooting.

If you have a friend with you, fly low with a tapejara and have your friend on the back shoot it with tranquil arrows.

Take tons of tranqs and make a trap

3x3x3 structure with ramps leading into it. Kite into the trap using a flyer, and you’re done. It’s head will stick out, giving you a nice target for an easy KO.

Got two very nice 150s like this, and even took down an alpha with it.

You can make a 1x1 but the first layer has to be stone walls next row up doorframes and then a ceiling and lure it towards you and tranq it

With the new update, you need to use behemoth gates for the rex. Keep this in mind for pens/rex traps

Stay out of its way and knock dat beast into tomorrow with your tranqs

If u have some near ur base u wanna tame build a pen on flat ground behemoth 16 fence stone foundations and 32 stone doorways if not on side of cliff multiply that by 2,

Have a stone base lure it in and light it up with tranqs. I recommend doing this with a friend or tribe member

Definitely a must. I'm in a mega tribe and we have lvl 350+ Rex's and we kill bosses with 4 of them

If you want to tame a Rex this high and don't want it to run off, have someone trap it while u shoot tranqs at it
