Boom a rex tamed and ready up if helpful

If on multiplayer, you can use an argentavis (because of the stamina) in order to pursue one while taming. Have a guy get picked up and fly that guy right over the Rex.

I recommend the person shooting to go in third person to aim. It’s pretty hard to see otherwise.

You won’t even need bear traps!

(I’m quite sure this works for pretty much anything, but at the point where you’re taming a rex, you should probably already have an argy on you.)

Just be careful when chasing it when it’s low on torpor. Try to get it stuck—it may be a little faster than you.

I tamed my high level rex(435) in the Arctic i was trying to find a high level direwolf then i saw it, so i tried to knock it out although i'm only lvl 36 i'm pretty confident cuz i have good ascendant bow and they're easy to get stuck lol, i'm pretty happy actually cuz i have an ascendant rex saddle from the january promo. I'll use my rex to kill the alpha rex that spawned near my base when i'm level 13+ i think, i can use an otter too and do spyglass glitch but i tried it many times but my otter always die cuz of stomp damage (i reverted my save)

I also found a level 435 spino near green obelisk i'll try to tame it next, i'll prolly tank it with my rex since the nearest high cliff was a bit far from where it spawned

Just sit on the back of a tanky dino that you can shoot from, stego or anky work great for me

u need 28-36 tranquilizer arrows and a lote of prime meat(Rex)

Easiest way to tame without trap: use a griffin and shoot it with tranq arrows while in the air.

Me and my brother found its practally tamable at any level with ease if you use a raft and Tranq arrows to make it swim while you shoot it, when it runs make sure it's on land while you follow it on foot chase it down and walla shove some raw meat into its mouth and rex! Worked every time for us much easier on multiplayer while one person drives on shoots, but still works with singleplayer

Place a stone foundation near Rex spawns. Then place 3 walls a door frame and a door on it. Next put 4 door frames on top of that do it should be two walls high. Then place a ceiling. Now get inside of it and shoot the Rex through the door frames on top. It won't be able to hit you. You can also tame gigas if the building is metal.

Chain Bola does not last very long....

If there is a hill with a cliff try luring the Rex under the cliff and getting of top of the cliff. Makes a Rex tame so easy you could do it with ur eyes closed......

Make a bunch of pillars and ladders then put a roof on top then start tranqing easy just don't make the towers to tall

I breed Rexes there sweet tames I high recommend butt spinos are much better in damage and stam just saying

For tame a t rex, go with a ptéranodon or a argentavis for shoot with a gun and fly and shoot and fly...

Pour tame un rex aller avec un ptéranodon ou un argentavis pour tirer avec des fléchettes tranquillisantes ensuite partez avec votre monture et re tirer etc

You can easily tame a rex when trap him using stone wall around him and use tapeja to know out

All you have to do is make a pit trap. Basically place some stone foundations in a square and build walls on them up by two. Then make a ramp and it will be stuck whenit falls in

Someone help I need tips for taming this. Im lvl 61 and have a red saddle from a blueprint from a crate (I'm on mobile) I need a good way to take this since I don't have any prime meat and neither a pm farm so someone pls halp

Use three fencepost foundations to make 3 sides of a square then put two doorframes on top of each fence foundation. Put a reinforced door on one of the upper doorframes on the sides of the trap. When the rex follows U into the cage walk through the doorframe the run around to the side of the trap and open the door. Up if this helped you.
