There are different ways to knock out Rexes but Traps are probably the best solution. You can use three Stone Dinosaur Gateways (Rexes can't destroy stone) and a Large Bear trap by leading the Rex into the BTrap and surrounding it by Gates. Or you could also use a Raft Trap which is a better way to spend resources, since you can move it instead of remaking Traps. You can also get your knocked Rex to safety by taking advantage of the movement capability. I currently cannot think of any other ways to trap a Rex, but if this was helpful, please leave a like. ❤

I tend to use the stand on a rock and shoot the Rex in the face, strategy......seems to always work......

I recently tamed a lvl 167 tek rex and i suggest having 150 arrows (or more) if its above lvl 100 (you don’t beed to that many but always bring extra incase) for beginners 4 stone dino (not behemoth gates) or metal and place 3 like forming a square but leave one side open put a large bear trap in the middle and get the rex to go into the middle of the unfinished square and let it get stunned by the bear trap go to the other side where it was open and place the final gate there finishing the square( this is the easiest method) for beginners you can bring more gates or bear traps large if you want and also bring a fast tame if you don’t wanna risk it although you’ll probably be fine without a quick raptor or tame.

From my experience my rexes have layed a bunch of eggs I have 2 females and 2 males and I was able to get 120 eggs in the past 2 weeks however you may not have the same luck, however taming 3-4 females and a male should enough to supply you with plenty of red eggs to tame quetzals and plesiosaurs

These bad boys are east to tame! (Recommending a 130-145 or higher) The higher the level the stronger so it will be harder. Get four metal signposts and get a flyer to distract the Rex recommending an argy then you trap the Rex with the signposts in a square order. It doesn’t have to be perfect but make it accurate so it doesn't escape. Then get some tranqs and start knocking! Then get some prime and a feed it, after that get a saddle *you don’t have to* and name it! Now delete the signposts or if you have god console just say the command “forcetame” and there you go!

Anyone noticed most Rex spawns are bronto spawns? If you kill the Rex, you’ll probably get a bronto

There were FOUR by my base at the end of the bay but still to close for comfort luckily i killed one with my longneck and the rest despawned.

Rex's aren't as scary as they seem.simply get on top of a large rock and shoot it like 100 times and it will be out. Make sure to give prime meat for or mutton for better levels.

I literally just consentrated on my melee attack damage, I can kill easily with a sword and flak armor.also, when I tried to tame one the risky way, an allo and 3 carnos also attacked me, still survived.(atk is at almost 400%)

Help I’m low level and there’s a level 135 Rex at my base what do I do? Should I just grab all my stuff and move?

If you see an alpha rex please be careful, they are unbelievably scarier than a normal rex keeping up with a spinosaur and not getting phased by anything we threw at it. Rip Zeus, level 113, the rex was 25.

Be a safe distance from the Rex then strike! When you knock it out make sure you have enough narcotics (if not make sure you have a raptor to get home quickly!). It’s easiest to hit it with a long neck rifle in my opinion

I have a rex level 440 it is damage is 1000 percentage that equal 764

If you wanted to tame one like this tame rex with 200 level and get a lysrto small mockups and it will give all dinos levels and level it is damage is is stronger than a giga!!!!!

Rex is found on the north island and the griffin mountain and snow get up an arrow to sky that people know

for some reason when rex spot you they target you only they ignore the sabertooths, argies, and pulmos

Found a few of these one on dead island and one by the volcano. Like a lot of carnivores just run to the nearest animal and let them fight while you run
