On ark mobile, you can do direbear persuit to get ascendant longneck and then start shooting t rex in da face

Just block it in a corner and its lvl 4 you will need atless 20 trank darts

These things are slow so...JUST OUTRUN IT

I use the trap method if there is a lot of hostile creatures nearby but if theres only the rex and herbivores then i just tranq it on foot

Make a trap, of you have doedic, stego, smithy. There not hard to make, its minimum of 3 behemoth gateways, max of 5 if ur worried about ur abikity to space. Put down two gateways on both sides, and have one open, lure it in, close other gateway when its in.

Then you don’t have to worry about anything and just shoot it

Plus this becomes a multi use trap to get griffins, wyverns, argies and anything else thats small enough to fit and big enough to were it cant get through your gaps

you don't need fancy traps or anything like that, if you skill in movement speed you can outrun it easily and turn around to get 2/3 shots on it(i was lvl 25 and tamed a lvl 80(bring backup biws if you don't have the crossbow))

When I tame these things, I just run and then get behind it and shoot it as much as possible while it takes like an hour to turn around and just keep repeating that until KO

40-50 tranquilizer darts for a level 40 and lower will knock it out and 20 or less prime meat you will have your t-Rex

Whoever said that the roar is useless, it’s actually not. It is pretty hard to use and you can only use it below the creature and on small creatures and it stuns them. Good for taking out smaller creatures that may hunt in packs.

Super easy to tame hardest part is nocking it out. Get on a hill and shoot it with Tranqs. Takes like 1 min and 20-30 meat to tame

I want one of these guys soooooo bad. I find them, set my argentavis to passive, and start shooting tranquilizer arrows. I can withstand the bite since I have 380 health and flak armor, but my tranquilizer arrows always kill the rex! I just want to get a rex!

Easy way to tame it. Make a raft put 4 stone foundations and 24 double doorframes and a ramp onto the door frames portable taming works fine lead it in to it and it will get stuck. Also works for majority of medium dinos worked with yuti Carno anky stegosaurus trike

Just tamed one with a crossbow, a rock, a flier, tranq arrows, minor balm, (towards the end) and normal raw fish and meat, turns out these are pretty easy to tame as a male. Now I need to go tame his girl-

Ride a sabertooth, shoot from back of saber tooth. Simples

Whoever said about using a rock, you don't need to move they can tank every hit without gliding or moving so easy headshots

I used the space to my advantage just fly, land shoot, and repeat no trap I used darts and a normal gun :)
