Alot of bad tips, just get 140 movement on your player. Get some flak, run turn shoot rinse repeat easy tame. I have a wild line of rexes hatching with 9k health 370 melee from just doing this

Super easy to kill and quite exiting to do! Killed my first pack at level 30 with 10 tames ( 3 parasaur, 4 di-lo and 2 level 30 moschops) Use around 5-9 spikes and have good tames. If you have enough spikes, the Rex will barely touch you. ( what’s it going to do, fair you to death, pick you up with it’s Stubby arms?)

Stamina drain's horrendous

Do not use for long travel, or even medium travel honestly

Steps on how to tame a Rex:

1. Build four metal bill boards and a bear trap place three in square shape put the large bear trap in metal guide Rex into the trap place the final bill board.

2. Now that the Rex is trapped you will need around 30 tranqs for a low lvl 1-30 for a higher lvl you will need around 100 tranqs 30-100

3. feed it raw prime meat or Exceptional kibble

I would have around 20 kibbles just in case

but prime meat/mutton is easier.

So heres my tip for noobs that want a rex

1st. 30 tranq arrows

2nd. A crossbow

3nd. A high cliff that the rex cant get to

Now after u find a really high ciff that u can still shoot the rex but the rex cant get you

Then feed it raw prime meat

I prefer using a theri to getting meat cuz its ez to make things extinct in hervivore island

Boom u now have a evovled murder ostritch

Bro, just get away from this menu, go and use 12 darts (shocking) and 8 meat. You can kill mammoths to get prime meat so it will bring super fast. Just get 12 biotoxins and 12 shocking

Taming one is easy just a use some tranquilizer darts and your good

Put some spike walls around your trap after you trap it. It’ll bite some unsuspecting herbivores that wander near and fight. Before you know it, it’s dead. Trust me, I have lost 4 high leveled rexes already.

DO NOT USE BIOTOXIN!!! It ruins the taming effectiveness, and ur rex will come out a low level. And plus on most maps narcotics are easier to make.

It is bett to do it with a partner

These are not something that you want to mess with these are beasts of doom

Don't forget your taming food and narcotics! Don't get hit you will die!

Its eazy to tame a lvl 2 it only takes 8-10 tranq arrows

For a rex get a friend and a gallmims and your set if you are bad at tameing a rex

If your gonna tame a lol 300 Rex, get a quetzal and put storages on him, or else the man is just gonna star at you and wonder why you were shooting it after you run out of tranks. P.s. NEVER PUT UR ARGY ON FOLLOW

They should have a pack bonus. It have been proven many years ago that the rex did live together and hurt together.

They are beasts get them early game and you will be set they have really good attack and health make sure they have some stamina too

Seems like tek Rex takes more darts I put 50 reg darts and 10 shocking to knock a 180

A good tip when you’re taming rex, use a tanky Thylacoleo! Tranq the rex while you’re on the Thyla, I know it’s a very simple tip but it works like a charm (and maybe even better than a charm)!
