Aside from being the king of boss fights the rex actually is great for pvp due to its high health pool and tek saddle. You don’t really want to use this to fight other tames though.

There are 5-10 recess near my base, what do I do?

One time when I was playing on Valguero I had a wood house on the beach and a Rex fell from a cliff and slaughtered all my tames. This also happened to me on Ark Mobile.

Just build a trap of stone pillarrs, place a trap inside and lure it inside with a flyer. Then you can place a gateway behind it and you can knock it out easily.

The best way to tame them that I use is just to bait them into a trap or make them get stuck on rocks, you can also kite them to wild dinos because the rex will go after them instead of you

Carno island has some. If you go there, lead them to that giant rock (pp rock 1) then fly up on flyer. Shoot at it with tranq arrows and Rex

I feel like you can tame a rex when you have like some tranq arrows and a bow just go up to a cliff and shoot it until its knocked out and feed it some prime meat or just normal meat boom you got yourself a huge lizard chicken

If you run out of Tranqs, DONT LOOK BACK!

You can find them lingering around the hidden lake

If you run into one you want a wee dent rifle

To tame A Rex get on the Rock so it can’t Get you

Taking down a 270 x rex on a 4x taming server took me 195 tranq darts with a longneck rifle + around 350 tranq arrows with a crossbow this is insane lol

If you want an good chance of finding them just go up top right on the island map at carnivore island they spawn an lot just start killing the scorpions, carno and sabertooth tigers spawns are great for Chitin for cementing paste.

Xp hack(they made it possible, so maybe it’s not a hack) for ark mobile revamp.

Go to player resistance, turn it to zero.

Go to player damage and turn it to like one million.

Find an alpha Rex as a level 10.

Become level 70 for punching an alpha Rex out of existence.

Also works well with gigas, carches, and titanos.

I found alpha rex at carnivore island with my kapro and me

Both my kapro and me became fresh meat

Step 1 get at least 10 parachutes a flyer on follow and tranqs

Step 2 jump off flyer from a tall height and parachute chute tranqs get back on flyer

Step 3 repeat

It sucks that if takes forever to level up and if you tams it early on like I am it’s useless until you get a saddle and if you find a cliff and shoot it with tranq arrows it works effectively hope this helps

These guys are good. On its own, my level 25 Rex killed 7 stegos, 5 brontos, and 2 ankylos simultaneously, losing less than half of its health. I’d definitely recommend getting one.

Knock it out with tranq arrows and a bow stay above it like on a rock or smthn and shoot it (if u have god console use infinite ammo and spam with crossbow)and feed it prime meat and voila! (For users with god console:once koed level it up a couple times and feed it bio toxin and feed regular meat it should tame in about 1-2min if u repeat the process

Base speed can outrun a Rex, if you encounter early don’t panic, just run.
