Carea more about big prey than you, so try to run past anything bigger and meatier than you, then keep running. It won't take long to kill whatever it finds. That being said, I did see a Rex take a long while to kill 2 carbonenemy turtles

Um normal spinos give more Xp than normal rex but alphas give more xp than normal spino and spino has lesser health just beware of the spino speed.

So i just found out i have tek Rex near my base

Why are rexes usually found in the arctic? It’s the coldest place and the most dangerous (besides swamp, maybe).

If you see a rex and your level 30 and you have a gun and bullets tame a pt and fly up somewhere it can't get you start shooting and pray a raptor is not behind you

The bread and butter of the Rex is their high Health. A good way to find a high Hp Rex and know it's Hp stat before KO is to ride a mount and use the magnifying glass to see it's health. Griffins, Sabers, and direwolfves are all good mounts to ride while trying to use the magnifying glass on the Rex. Between 7000 and 10000 is what you want to aim for to make it worth taming.

There were FOUR by my base at the end of the bay but still to close for comfort luckily i killed one with my longneck and the rest despawned.

for some reason when rex spot you they target you only they ignore the sabertooths, argies, and pulmos

Anyone noticed most Rex spawns are bronto spawns? If you kill the Rex, you’ll probably get a bronto

You can find it in places near a forest or a swamp

good thing the fools from the giga section seem to be condemned here, cuz the rex doesnt ignore all tames

just test it with any dino that gets stunned by rex roar
