Anyone noticed most Rex spawns are bronto spawns? If you kill the Rex, you’ll probably get a bronto

There were FOUR by my base at the end of the bay but still to close for comfort luckily i killed one with my longneck and the rest despawned.

Help I’m low level and there’s a level 135 Rex at my base what do I do? Should I just grab all my stuff and move?

I literally just consentrated on my melee attack damage, I can kill easily with a sword and flak armor.also, when I tried to tame one the risky way, an allo and 3 carnos also attacked me, still survived.(atk is at almost 400%)

This is an attempt, but once I was killed by an alpha Rex it scared the crap out of me

If you see an alpha rex please be careful, they are unbelievably scarier than a normal rex keeping up with a spinosaur and not getting phased by anything we threw at it. Rip Zeus, level 113, the rex was 25.

for some reason when rex spot you they target you only they ignore the sabertooths, argies, and pulmos

If you encounter a rex run toward some trees and it will get stuck and tou can outrun it

Found a few of these one on dead island and one by the volcano. Like a lot of carnivores just run to the nearest animal and let them fight while you run

This thing killed my otter and I became the final boss and ripped this things head off the others ran...

Has a chance to spawn without the torpor stat, making the particular individual Rex unable to be knocked out and therefore untamable. Check to see if they have torpor or not using your telescope before opening fire. Probably a glitch.

Oh man. All these stories of death are about spinos and gigas, but, my rex drowned. I tried to cryopod him but he died just before I could. I’ve made a grave for sharptooth. This is tge least threatening creature in the game once you hit lv 10. Craft a bow and some arrows, shoot it and kite. If it is gaining on you, run past a herbivore, it will lose aggro almost instantly. Keep shooting that sweet sweet early exp and possibly early metal tools.

Rex’s need to take wide turns to be able to attack you. If you find a golden spot (roughly between his back legs and stomach), you can basically play ring-around-the-rosie with them, and attack them in the process. I recommend not using a dinosaur to do so, may be too large to hit that golden spot and the rex may be able to hit the dino.
