If your wanting to take out one of these guys out I highly recommend an argy with at least 3000 health and 400 melee (and of course stamina) Just make sure you don't get hit too many times and you'll be absolutely fine. I find that they won't do the roar if you already attack without them seeing/fighting something else.

Dont worry, you can out run them, just run faster than other dino, i found them mostly near snowy mountain area, sometime on dead island ( dont try to tame one there )and mountain, rarely near river,swamp and beaches on the island map

I’ve killed 90 of these with a primitive sword and 500 health

The best way to tame it is to stand at a high point the shoot like any other dino then build around it a spike walls and let its food level drop near half while keeping it unconscious with bio toxins(make sure to take enough 70 just to be safe)

You can even explore a little around then when its food gets near half feed it any kind of meat doesn’t have to be prime and it will be tamed under 30 sec

I saw a Rex near where my base is and I didn't want it to get closer so I took all my stuff out of my inventory and I ran up to it and led it to a Wolly Rino but it killed the Rino than I just led it further back so it wasn't as close to my base it was just a level 4 with a thousand health but I didn't really have great tools so I led it off!

Don't tame until you want to breed them and make more powerful rex

Rex are easy tame as long as you are faster then it you can lead it in circles

75 lat 75 long spawnpoint on SE. Although I had trouble taming there because of lack of good rocks to hide on as they can climb most of them, also because my argentavis killed the only rex I could make unconscious as it was trying to hit a pulmonoscorpious..

Found a max level tek Rex on mister island but there is a lot of carno's but Rex spawn slot in monsterisland

If you do encounter a Rex I would put on your best armor and take out some good weapons if you have at least maybe Bary you should be fine just my idea hope you like it

If u have ascendent bow and aim for the head t rex will go down in no time

I'd say run for your life and hope it gets distracted by something else. That's their weakness, if something is in their way they'll attack it and ignore you if you're lucky.

So I was like any Innocent surviver,on my arge farming some allou and sabertooth near my base to clean up,then I saw him ,an alpha Rex so like any smart man will do ,I decided to kill it since he challenged me by entering my domain,I brought 3 normal rex ,2 carno and 5 argy ,i actually killed him and only have 3 rex and 1 argy and an alpha Rex scull back right after I took the same argy and killed 6 allou together it was epic
