I HATE THIS THING!!!!! Here’s why. So I had just started playing ark, and I didn’t have a house so I would just wander the whole world without sleeping. One day I decided, hey I should tame something. So I decided to tame a dodo, to start off small. After doing that, I decided to build a farm of dodos. Since I was new, I did like, no pursuits so I thought I had all the time in the world. I had at least 1000 dodo’s. (I tamed all these dodos over the course of a week) I have straight up no IDEA why, but my dodo’s were following me in a single file line. Anyways here is the good part. I decided to try and tame a raptor because my dodos could knock anything out. After searching for about an hour, I found a raptor, a alpha. So I thought to myself, well maybe half of my troop might die, but I will get A SUPER STRONG DINO!!! As I got closer to the raptor, it started running away from me, so I was confused. (I have had a few confrontations with raptors, so I thought it would pin me down but it didn’t)I heard LOUD steps coming from behind me, and when I turned around, I saw a level 50 T. REX!!! It stomped on like 50 of my dodos at once and killed them. I ran as fast as I could but it caught up to me, and used it tail to fling me like a rag doll. One ^ = Equals 1 respect paid

I encountered a level 15 one two days ago, tried taming and ended up killing it. Just found a level 14 female and want to tame it but don't wanna kill it. I have around 21 tranquilizer arrows, 60 stone arrows and I can make the 4 foundations and walls trap. I want to know when does it run away? I mean, how much can I hit it before it tries to flee? It has 1300 of life

My tip is to clear danger around before you tranq it

These bad boys can be knocked air with around 50 or more tranq arrows but I reccomend using darts for this tame It takes around 10 darts since a low level has like 5000 torpor .feed prime meat since the creatures around their spawn give prime such as argys.

I have 3 of these but ppl might think there hard to tame but if you have the right gear on hand there also not as dangerous as ppl think as well if you can out run them your fine

Ways to know if there is a rex is get a trike and what the is a rex it’s head will turn red and then you know there is a rex around 👍

Real man use a candy cane club and a few tranq arrows(did it this way)

Also YOU WILL NEED ANY TYPE OF SMOOTHING BALM TAME IT

I killed one with a bow at level 18 after it scared me half to death on single

Bro once i was on the beach trying to tame iquanodon and the this thing came out of nowhere knocked me into the water then I got eaten by a megalodon and I was at a great start to then I lost everything

1. get a deer, a beaver, and a doedicurus

2. farm the corresponding materials until all the almost encumbered

2. build the smallest square you can around the obleisk with stone foundations (hint: it'll touch the inner corners of the circle pad)

3. Stack the stone doorways on the inside edge of each foundation until you reach height limit (about 6-7)

4. Build a stone ceiling (useful to trap quetzals, tapejaraa and other skittish flying tames)

5. Revive the implant and run as fast as you possibly can outside the stone doorway

6. Enjoy it's suffering!

Bonus: if you tame a female you can also auto complete the Rex kibble quest

⭐ I went to make a cryo fridge at the green obelisk and after I crafted it, there was a rex in a cryopod sitting in the obelisk inventory, so I grabbed it and now I have a Rex...⭐ Just sharing because I've never heard anybody do this... Is this normal..? Is it part of an event..? ⭐ At first I thought it was somebody else's, but it has me name on it...⭐

The Tek Rex uses the same kibble as the regular one does.

Kinda confused, so I was going to try and tame a lvl three Rex on scorched earth and I was like I should probably bring like a lot of tranq arrows. I hit the Rex three or four time and it was down btw I used crossbow

4 Dino gateways, one beartrap, and lead it in using ptero. Quick and easy tame.

To tame a rex make either a 3x3 or a 5x5(5x5 has more room to trap it) then 4 doorways high all the way around it. Next just build ramps that go to the top of the trap. Now all you need to do is have it follow you up the ramp and fall in as you jump out the doorway. :)

Just use bio toxin to keep it knocked out. It’s very easy to obtain and you need way less then narcotic

Knock back Dinos for days people. My trike beats the crap out of rexes that aren’t too tough
