A good bird can save your life. Movement up your movement speed and stamina on a ptera or argentavis, and you just might live. Or just stand there. That's cool too.

So ive found a lot of rex's either by south zone or where snow meets sand it west. A great way to tame it is get a friend with a bird, have him/her fly you over (bring spyglass to scout levels) then go to town with narco arrows, etc

Easiest way to do this is to get a bird and have it follow you to a steep hill it can't climb and shoot it with tranqs, use a low lvl bow or cross bow, you're going for torpor not damage

Lots spawn in snow biom. If you can't find a high level go on a killing spree to get a new round of spawns, scout the area again, repeat until level you want spawns.

Certainly need more narcs than stated here. Bring at least 28narcs to be safe for lvl 155+

You will need more darts than what it says. I had to use 70+ darts for a level 95

Just boost your movement speed a little. Then youll be able to outrun it. My speeds only about 125 and thats plenty to run turn and shoot a dart or arrow with no drama.

Honestly really not that hard to knock out. Find one on a mountain, fly higher than it can go and land. Shoot it till it's down. If it's a low level it will only take about 20 tranq arrows. I knocked out a level 3 with 12.

App says can destroy stone buildings, we've just tried it and it doesn't work

Spino is better than Rex as it attacks 1.5 times faster and has a high knockback distance

Find one near a tall cliff and shoot tranq arrows or darts from above, it wont be able to get up the cliff to attack

Utilise a quetz to shoot from the top of. Position it in the direction you want to pr3vent the rex from running such as water. Opti ally postion yourself opposite a cliff so the rex will get stuck when it rjns.

Aggro get on the cliff and tranquility Walla u got it

Pro tip for taming: don't die and don't use your fists

On primitive they like the poultry better than raw meat if u have no Dino to get u prime kill some birds

Attack it with a patchy

step one:get a guy to get rex attention

step two: have second player shoot tranquil arrows w/ crossbow at rex

step three: try to move rex to an open area so easier to know what's around

step four: be the boss u know u are and unload them arrows

step five: once down. put all mean and narcotics in. and go find prime meat (fish or general meat)

step six:.......wait and be patient

Build a 3x3x3 structure on a boat with ramps leading up and the only way out are dino gates lead the rex in, tranq out, carry home to safely tame.

Build a pen with gates and 1 wall with a door frame lead it in shut door behind it walk out door climb to top shoot it
