Its realy good for bosses i had tamed two rexes on 140-150 level

One had realy high attack 54 stats in deamage

And other had 57 stats in HP

I breed a super rex it also had a mutation eventualy i had base level of the rexex on 250s i leveled them and easly beaten all bosses and the tek cave

I realy reccomend it

I feel like the spawn of these on the island have been messed up since they added the cerato

Definitely a must on pvp servers. Good to have a mix between tanks (20k health) and damage dealers (400+ melee). If you have the means definitely breed them for damage buff/resistance. Working on third gen Rex's now :)

Why are rexes usually found in the arctic? It’s the coldest place and the most dangerous (besides swamp, maybe).

Disclaimer: if you are on any other platform besides old mobile then ignore this tip.

On old mobile these things are neutral to all tames, meaning that if you try to lure a wild rex to a rando's base to be evil and they have all their tames set to passive, then that's not gonna do anything unless you manually aggro the rex onto you then tank each hit with your tame and the dude's tames in the rex's hitbox until something dies.

This also means that if a rex is near your base it won't be a huge problem until it is practically walking on your tames and your structures, in which you will have to kill it before it gets aggroed on you then starts attacking things in its way.

This also applies to gigas

However if you try this on any other platform including ark use you and your tame will get chomped up as wild rexes are aggressive to all tames.

On mobile I knocked 240lvl but when I go to get meat (kill some dinos) it despawns, and yes I know nothing killed it because I have my tapejara next to him but on my luck and my experience from before I saved data when I knocked it. Beware guys do not leave them alone they can despawn on some places espesauly in volcano, under blue obelis... And sorry for my bad english, hose I helped. ✌🏻

If you play ark mobile please answer. I wanted to tame a 145 rex and he never made it to the trap because he died to a 125 tickle chicken. I have his implant to revive him. It cost 40 amber, and I have 37. I can get this amber in 2 daily pursuits. Tell me should I revive him. Yes or no. Someone comment if yes or no on Everything Else New.

The bread and butter of the Rex is their high Health. A good way to find a high Hp Rex and know it's Hp stat before KO is to ride a mount and use the magnifying glass to see it's health. Griffins, Sabers, and direwolfves are all good mounts to ride while trying to use the magnifying glass on the Rex. Between 7000 and 10000 is what you want to aim for to make it worth taming.

Hey Dino Tamers! Wanna know a simple hack to taming this big fella? Follow the steps below:

1. Grab around 20 or so LARGE bear traps and about 45 tranq darts, along with plenty of meat.

2. Find and locate an open valley containing a singular rex (the valley is optional, but a lot safer).

3. Place around 15 of the bear traps in a gathering on the ground in the SAME GENERAL AREA; it is recommended that you are at a safe distance away from the rex.

4. Shoot one tranq dart at the rex, and run behind your bear traps.

5. Keep shooting at the rex as it comes into the traps; the rex should get stuck with every step that it takes.

6. Once knocked out, fill the inventory with meat and bam! Shortly after, depending on what you feed the beast, you should have yourself a slayer feared by all!

2)MAKE SURE rex cant attack u

3)made him sleep and feed him

4)PROTECT HIM FROM OTHER DINOSAURS!

5)well done u tamed rex ; )

what u need:longneck rifle +tranq darts,meat,narcotics,

pike and shotgun for protection

1)find rex and check if there are no agrsive dinos (if yes kill them they can kill rex &u)

2)start shooting into rex (with tranq darts)and running away from him but make sure he’s following you

3)knock him out and feed him

4)protect him

If you see one, and are trying to fight or knock it out, i recommend going to a ledge above the rex, which in where it spawns can happen, make sure to use a good level longneck or other powerful tool if you want to kill one, and relocate if it gets close (they are not too fast). To knock one i recommend tranq arrows or darts (arrows if you have a good crossbow, they cheaper) and if you knock it just feed it prime meat or mutton, wait and then you get a Rex. If you have a tame that can outrun it you could relocate much easier

How to tame rex ez instead of making a trap find a tall cliff then knock it out with rifle or tranqs then feed it exceptionl kibble (scorpion kibble ark mobile) and narcotics I recommend bio toxins but idc ur opinion.

I tend to use the stand on a rock and shoot the Rex in the face, strategy......seems to always work......

Equipment Taming

1 Longneck Rifle.

Around 200 Darts incase. Depends on lvl

4 Stone gates.

1 Large bear trap.

Place 3 gates next to the large bear trap.

Get the rex attention and run past the bear trap.

Until the rex gets stuck in the trap.

Then place 1 gate behind the rex don't get to close.

Then shoot rex until it knocks out.

This also works with spino

The safest way to find and tame a rex is to go to the winte- south zone 2 "alley" with the river that intersects into a swamp and another river that eventually goes to green ob

If you are playing casually and you pass through this area a lot one should spawn because it isn't rare for them to spawn here.

If you find a rex and it sees you it will start to prioritize you for a moment but if you have enough tranqs and movement speed you can run far enough away from it so that it will attack something else instead, then you can tranq while it is attacking the other creature.

If you don't you can just use a pternadon or anything thats faster than a trex then just dismount to tranq.

After you knocked it out you can get prime meat from stegos, diplos, or carnos that spawn in this area.

For noobs, low level rexs spawn at the southeastern part of the map

Easy process to find a tek rex on the island in UME:

1. Go to carnivore island

2. Bring a strong tame that can decimate every creature there (i usually bring a carcharo cuz it can 1 shot almost every creature there)

3. Kill any raptor, sabertooth, carno, argy, and rex that spawns there and continue for as long as you can until you see a shiny, metallic rex that looks robotic

4. If you're on singleplayer, then here are some bonus tips:

4a. I recommend backing up a save file every time you see a supply crate reach the ground since every time you enter your game a supply crate will be guaranteed to spawn near you shortly after. (You can also use this to farm keys since you wont need fo fly miles at a time to check every supply crate since if you're at carno island every supply crate that spawns WILL ALWAYS be on carno island unless you leave) If you can't kill everything on carno island once before the first supply crate reaches the ground, then back up a save every time you kill a rex or 2.

4b. If you find an alpha raptor, carno or rex and you need better gear you can back up your save and then kill the alpha to have a chance to get hide armor, sickles, pikes, metal axes, metal picks, crossbows, bows, and finally simple pistols (sorry this doesnt include swords). Chitin armor can also drop from alpha carnos and alpha rexes, and when paired with a high enough difficulty level and good enough luck, you can get a mastercraft or ascendant piece of chitin armor that can be stronger than a primitive flak piece (100 armor)
