If you run into one then run to a deep body of water then swim to far away from the rex and you can head back but till you can get it's weak point then you can retake your shore!

You can just tame it with 2 Stone Gateways. Just place one and lure it in. While he is stuck in that gateway place the other one somewhere between his arms and his legs. Now he cant get out.

Just stay up in the air or lure it to a huge animal and from a safe distance start shooting arrows

Just so you know use dotame not forcetame for dotame acts as if you actually tamed it and can't ride it right away

I encountered Rex and luckily I have tranqs n bows with me and I also made a trap for any dinos its lvl.100 and in still lvl.23 is there any other way to get saddles not only just leveling up?

It would useful if the Rex could bite with a tek saddle instead of the lasers and can turn it back on and shoot

If you run into one unprepared look for the nearest bronto or anything the can put up a fight and run to it and hope to make the enemy of your enemy a friend so you can escape

Never try to kill a red without traps .play safe and have a quetz with a platform saddle or scale a cliff and arrow it to death from above.being alone with no help or tames or traps with you will leave you dead by the rex

When your trying to run from a rex dont bola your tribe mate that's just selfish. Just use a bear trap, it lasts longer and your teammate will at least know the time spent making and placing that trap in the place you did. Anyway it'll probably distract them long enough for the rex to notice a free meal

It Walked over my metal spike walls. Killed it with no tames. Thank goodness for tek. PS. They spawn where west meats snow. When i went on my sarco first no T rexs. Second time Ong so Many jellyfish

U can u have a Dino that has tons of health and while the Rex is going for it tranq the Rex

I put my tamed red outside my base and targeted a wild dodo I brought in. It couldn’t get in. I put it in my base on wander. Just came out right after putting him wander Aggro and he’s out. Really? Lol.

Don’t underestimate this creature. I found a level 3 battling 5 argies, s pack of hyaenodons, 2 kentros and 4 anklos all at once.

Killed one not even an hour ago I let it fight some ,it started killing a Diplodocus next I lit it up with my pistol :)

If u see a Rex and u a noob then just get as close to your home as you can then let it kill u then when u respawn just tranq it and shoot it in da head a bunch a Times. Or if u bola a tribe mate and let it eat them u can pretty much take it down while ur distracted.

When you encounter a Rex, craft a ballista turret and a chain bola on it and then go for it to kill or tame.Tip:put 10 stacks of raw meat and raw prime meat.Remember, raw prime meat tames them faster!
