Rexs are really easy to tame I knocked out a 130 but it disappeared when I came back from getting food for it and I was on single player and out of render range so I have no idea what happen then I found I level 100 which wasn’t great but it was ok ok the first one I just stood in a hill and shot it with a cross bow the second one I tried to trap it but I didn’t think it would break wood Dino gates so easily so I ended up just running around after it I have a bit of a issue about the info on the rex it says torpor drain is high but it’s really not you don’t need narcotics unless your using regular raw meat but you won’t need a lot as I said they are really easy to tame as soon as you can get tranqs you can tame them even with a bow but I wouldn’t recommend it I think the saddle is a bit to high level considering how easy they are to tame just don’t get to close they bite

Use a griffin that has a lot of stam and just run around or away from it

Don't tame until you want to breed them and make more powerful rex

I have three of these guys and they are extremely powerful. Definitely recommend getting some.

If u just finna kill some bobs you don't need a saddle just jump on top of it (from a rock) and whistle it into battle

Rex are easy tame as long as you are faster then it you can lead it in circles

If you want to take a rex all you need is a tanky Dino then let the red attack the Dino and shoot the red whilst it’s attacking

On MOBILE-

Tame whatever level Male you want, and tame whatever female you want, using dyed crushing amber, color one of them red and the other white. Breed them, get about 5 eggs, the babies should have red and white in them, and boom, you have rexes that look like alpha rexes.

Use toxics arrows it’s better for tanning don’t be scared of it

Build a pillar out of stone/metal foundations, about 7-8 high and shoot the rex from there. Keeping rex down won't be a problem unless you tame it with fish or just raw meat. Tame it with prime or mutton, and you'll get yourself a nice rex.

75 lat 75 long spawnpoint on SE. Although I had trouble taming there because of lack of good rocks to hide on as they can climb most of them, also because my argentavis killed the only rex I could make unconscious as it was trying to hit a pulmonoscorpious..

If you have a tapejara tamed with good weight around 800-1000 and decent stamina anything above 1000; then taming a T-Rex is super easy. Just choose a designated flyer and have 2 friends shoot at the T-Rex from above.

Game:rex leaves game

Just run with a crossbow or a longneck with tranqs there slow so if you have some levels into speed you can easily outrun them.

Honestly to tame a Rex it’s pretty easy for me at least I did the lazy method which was to find a hill or mountain and just knock them out from there with either tranq arrows or tranq darts don’t matter just get alot of them just in case. And if you have a hard time finding Rex’s go near mountains or near the shores that’s where I mostly find mine or one other spot is near the volcano where you can find them
