Here is my guide to taming a rex (by a guy who never tamed a rex)
Step 1: KO it, somehow. Heβs pretty large and dangerous. Maybe use a trike? Idk, bet bolas donβt work. Ooh, a chain bola?
Step 2: Prime meat or something? Bet he eats that. Well, give him it once heβs unconscious.
Step 3: Name your new tame!
Step 4: Yay! Now you have an absolute brute which you can bite everything with. ROAAAR
More Rex Funny Tips
Real men knock it out with a slingshot
Step 1- Get good armor and a ride with darts.
Step 2- Don't be a pansy
Step 3- Go out there and shoot the Rex in the face to show it who is the man
Don't move..... They can only see movement. Stay complet- Wait, why is it walking towar- OH GOD NO HAVE MER-......
If you run into one of these, stand perfectly still. Rexes canβt see you if you donβt move. I saw it in a movie once.
There once was a rex called Paul,
Who stood about 15 feet tall,
Use tranq arrows or darts,
Straight to his heart or
You'll struggle to tame him at all.
If you happen to encounter this creature with a tribe member, get your trusty bola. Bola your tribe member and run ?
If u just started ark and tamed some dodos and see a rex rushing at u just grab ur dodo and yeet it at the rex and run

You don't have to be faster then the Rex just faster then your tribe mate.
