Do not try to kill a rex having a heart before his name if you hit him 1 or more t-rex come to kill you

To tame a Rex follow these steps

1• have 5 stone gateways and first put four of them and leave some gap in btw , put a large bear trap in middle of the four gateways

2• mount on your flyer (I used argy) then go to the Rex and make him follow you to the trap. Then put the 5th gateway in the gap.

3• knock it out with tranq darts

4 put soothing balm 10x ( if playing on mobile) and some prime meat. And it will get tamed

They are annoying they some how get on a different side quick and are hard to escape in a area where I live

Swap Giga and Rex, Giga were kind of like pack hunters and not so intelligent, lived in (North America?) and ate like, baby sauropods and other herbivores and were fast. Then we get to Rex. Omg, like how do you even describe this? it’s so overpowered, prob taking down other rexes JUST for prey, plus hunted literal sauropods and are more intelligent than you think. Their bite force crushes bone easily, what the literal heck, plus they are only a little slower than giga (which is still, way too fast.)

I killed it with my raptor lev 100

It may not say is but if a Rex eats any thing he gets tons of health. I think the bigger the kill the more health. Hope this helps

Aside from being the king of boss fights the rex actually is great for pvp due to its high health pool and tek saddle. You don’t really want to use this to fight other tames though.

There are 5-10 recess near my base, what do I do?

One time when I was playing on Valguero I had a wood house on the beach and a Rex fell from a cliff and slaughtered all my tames. This also happened to me on Ark Mobile.

Just build a trap of stone pillarrs, place a trap inside and lure it inside with a flyer. Then you can place a gateway behind it and you can knock it out easily.

The best way to tame them that I use is just to bait them into a trap or make them get stuck on rocks, you can also kite them to wild dinos because the rex will go after them instead of you

Carno island has some. If you go there, lead them to that giant rock (pp rock 1) then fly up on flyer. Shoot at it with tranq arrows and Rex

You can find them lingering around the hidden lake

If you run into one you want a wee dent rifle

To tame A Rex get on the Rock so it can’t Get you

Taking down a 270 x rex on a 4x taming server took me 195 tranq darts with a longneck rifle + around 350 tranq arrows with a crossbow this is insane lol

If you have 8 or higher amount of Dilo you can maybe kill the Rex

I find them in the island’s redwood biome a lot, so if you have a tree platform and an argy, lure the Rex with the argy to your tree base, then land and tranq it from out of it’s reach. Then go down and stuff it with chosen food.

You can use the Rex as defense(what I mean is if you are surrounded by the Rex use the aggressive whistle and it will kill everything in sight, I learned this by dying 3 times)
