Once upon a time in scorched earth I nocked out a level 108 Rex using 4 boomerangs and the only reason that it survived is because when it torpor ran it ate a carcass and healed back to full. Granted I did accidentally throw my boomerang and it hit twice and the first time it hit the Rex got nocked out and the second time it hit it ruined its taming effectiveness but I not waiting for it to get up so it doesnβt lose 8 levels.

Real men knock it out with a slingshot
Step 1- Get good armor and a ride with darts.
Step 2- Don't be a pansy
Step 3- Go out there and shoot the Rex in the face to show it who is the man

If you run into one of these, stand perfectly still. Rexes canβt see you if you donβt move. I saw it in a movie once.

If u just started ark and tamed some dodos and see a rex rushing at u just grab ur dodo and yeet it at the rex and run
