I tamed a rex at level 35 it was easy just tranqued it without trap

Got my first max level male Rex on 'the island' today, leveled it up to 45k health and 2k% dmg. Looking for max female then will try to lvl her up to around the same, then go for my first boss fight with the megapithecus.

Knockout A Rex

Then your Rex was killed by a dilophosaur

Step 1:Get Prime Meat

Step 2:Get A High Ground

Step 3:Shoot With Dart

Step 4:Give it Prime Meat/Kibble When It's unconscious

Step 5:Done.

If there's a rex spawn near ur base put spikes randomly inside of the rex

Spawn it's helped me out a lot plus it gives u free hide meat and prime meat

You can use regular Torches to put on the saddle of the Rex to light up the area also you can put certain skins on the Rex too.

You can find a few near the entrance to the snow biome and near the Northeast parts of the island

If you’re a low level human, don’t try this because for knock is hard to do it with bow or crossbow, its better to use the longneck rifle

If it has a red aura, run. Don’t think about it. Just hightail it out of there

Look for CaptainFatdog on YouTube, he makes super cheap traps that are accessible way earlier than all these overpriced versions. You can tame pretty much anything as soon as you get access to stone, aswell as rexes! His rex trap is literally 14 pillars, its cheap and easy to put up 👍

I use 3 Metal buildbords in a squarish shape then I place a large bear trap at the furthest point. Then when he’s trapped I place the last build bord. EASY

Use large bear traps or stone windows have is trapped and then knock it out.

4 argys can wreck them in seconds

In 2018 it still works the same as in 2015. Stand on a rock, and shoot it. Then, just breed the tamed ones.

To knock it out get a crossbow to shoot bedtime stories in his/her eyes and the FOOD PREFERRED

MEAT -SECOND BEST

Cooked meat - bad

Cooked prime meat - Badder

Spoiled meat - only use for emergencies

The king of the jungle is very weak compared to this.

How to tame a rex:

1. First, you need to bring 4 stone dinosaur gates. And a large bear trap.

2. Place 3 of the gates (in this shape \_/) and the large bear trap inside them.

3. After you've found a rex, lure it and get it stuck in the trap.

4. After the rex is stuck in the trap, quickly place the fourth gate to prevent the rex from escaping.

5. Now knock the rex out with a tranquilizing ammo like tranq arrows or certain darts.

6. After the rex is knocked out, feed it meat or preferred kibbles.

You can also do the exact same thing to tame a giganotosaurus, but with metal gates.

When I was play ark mobile with my friends and it was night, and we saw what we thought was a Rex coming towards are base. It wasn’t a rex it was a giga. We got scared for nothing though bc it didn’t attack our base or us.
