What are tips for rex? Tips and strategies for rex in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Im not sure whats going on, but I just tamed a Rex (level 110) with only raw meat, and it only look about 45 minutes. Maybe I ate something that made it go faster? Idk. I don’t think I did, I didn’t craft anything for taming lol. It took about 150 traq arrows for it to be knocked out. According to Dododex, it should have taken 3-4 hours? Not sure whats going on.

They honestly are idiots. Tamed TWO with a cross bow and a iggy at lvl 35. Lol
If u want the fastest way to tame em? (Mobile)
Knock out:
Use some bow and toxicant arrow for newbies
Use long neck and SHOCKING dart for high iq players
Taming:
Use some prime meats for newbie
Add some (at least ×10) shooting balm if u need tough...
Some bonuses
Use narcoberrys! That will hold for like 100 torpors (i think when i played) but!
If u feed em that it cooldown like 10 or under...
Use narcotics! It will not cooldown..
Have a nice day taming dinosaurs
He's strong but I'm stronger
Aka just get a anklyasor
Stay still and it won’t attack if you do move find a safe place to hide

Ok
SHOUT out to SWAMP ABOUT THIS ONE RESPECT AND RIVAL AND RIVAL FOR YOUR FUTURE IS NOT THE WAY IT WILL GO AND I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU FEEL AND I KNOW THAT I DON'T
#black lives matter
I’ve managed to take a few at lower levels by shooting them from the top of a cliff, no trap required, just shoot in a lot of tranq arrows fast so it doesn’t have a chance to run
I got a red red trap around the stone and iam of level 21 I nocked it with tranq arrows and tame but don't take risk to tame it without trap
Tame lot’s of rappers to help

If you want narco berries then get a stegosaurus
You shouldn't really need a trap or alot of tranq they are pretty hard to miss head shot or miss and if you have bumped your movement a little you can easily out run a wild rex get distance fire a few tranq run shoot etc... it's torpor is so slow even if you leave for a few minutes to make a new bow or narc. It shouldn't matter at all super easy and able to do on foot by the time you can make tranq arrows
iLive next to alpha Rex and i tame her!
An alpha came from nowhere destroyed my dinos include giga, argys, brontos.... Should I delete the game on mobile vers and save money waiting for a huge gb on pc?
relatively easy trap: 4 stone floors going in a box or square shape, then 2 stone doorframes high placed on top of the floors, leaving no spaces behind (16 doorframes), then two wooden ramps placed on any side of the doorframes. next, lead the Rex inside the trap and escape using the open doorframes. I recommend prime meat (will usually take narcotics, but I prefer biotoxin to keep them sleeping) or the kibble needed for the Rex.
please don’t challenge a giga with a Rex.
I would say to build a 9x9 stone platform with a one lvl of wall and place it near your base then go and find a high lvl rex with your rhynionatha since it can carry rexes then pick him and bring him to your base drop him In the platform you made he won't be able to do anything and you can easily knock it out ( if rex is hitting your rhynionatha midair try to fly diagonally this will prevent rex from hitting you)
If you’re like me and don’t have anky’s or dodek’s to grind for materials, just get your movement speed up to 145%. This allows you to outrun them easily. Also, I play on 0.5 difficulty, so the max level of creatures that spawn is 60. I also have taming rates doubled. Just run away from the rex and periodically turn around and shoot it. I like to do this on the east side of the island by the big mountain. That way the beach is fairly safe and there is lots of room for the rex to start torpor running. The water usually isn’t a big problem. I just tamed two rexes this way!
