This specimens torpor drops slow, up for the devs to fix, I tamed this one for 2 min and torpor hasn’t dropped much.

If you see one and you have no guns. Run.

1. Get 40 to 50 trank arrows and a lot of meat and black berries

2. Get somewhere high like a rock or a leg

3. Make sure they can’t get you and open fire with trank arrows

I tamed a wild Male lvl 26 TEK Rex, It's so cool omg!

In Ragnarok I reccomend just running around one and spamming it with boomerangs. I managed to knock out a lv 20 with my naked mid-level character with nothing more than one boomerang.

If you want to find rexes left and right, go to the arctic.

Set this big boy to passive and just stand on him like a hunting stand and tranq whatever you want

Meat? CHECK

Hides, Furs, Chitin? CHECK

Ability to chomp almost everything? CHECK

just get a rex

So I just knocked a Rex out and I am taking him right now but I suggest getting on a fast raptor or something fast to run away from it and every now and then just look back and tranq it. That is a good way but I was just standing on a big rock, although it is hard to find a good rock and my backup plan was to mount my argy and fly far enough to where I could get a few shots on him before I had to retreat again because this one was slow. The easiest way to tame it is using the god console. First clear surroundings. Next, get 200-400 Toxicant Arrows. When it’s nocked out put 200-300 Bio Toxin in inventory. Finally, level It up as much as possible. Ip if this helped or don’t I don’t care honestly :^

If your looking to tame one of these I found a simple hack that allows you to get prime to tame it without going and killing things which takes a long time. Breed a baby dodo and kill it, when you do it will drop prime meat and that’s an easy way to get it.( hope this tip helped

I tamed my rex now named Wrecker with stone pillars and ladders it went wrong but it got stuck so that was good

traps suck for rexes as long as you have even ish speed justrun it in circles shooting it keep a wide circle and you'll be fine when it's down just throw some gates around it if you feel unsafe

You can make a ramp trap if you want by making a bunch of ramps and a hole in the middle and trap it like that

I knocked my first one out by punching it until it ran away and then retrieving my tranqs and shooting it.

It was my third tame.

Why Therizino can damage stone when Rex can only damage wood? It's pretty weird for me.

U dont have to use a trap, just get a load of tranq arrows and a crossbow or bow and just make it chase u, shoot, and run while reloading, i got a rex by this!

Get the high ground where it can't get you and throw a boomerang at its head over and ove untill knockout

IN RAGNOROCK BE CAREFUL. BEACHES ARENT ‘LEAST HOSTILE’ sheesh sorry for caps there is just a level 108 REX CLOSE TO MY BASE. usually I’d pack up my things and run but I am level 22. Viking bay is a place rexs can come down because the forest area right by there. So be careful! I was just minding my own business looking for a pterodactyl and boom I turn the corner and there it is. I ran but it was no use!

If you wave first then crouch three times the dinosaur will ask to be your friend, easiest tame I've ever done.
