When your trying to tame a high level rex I reccomend having a quetz platform saddle and using that.

3x3 stone foundation with hole in middle if you want

2 high doorways all around (you can take out bottom layer if you have foundation support turned off)

3x3 or 3x4 ramp leading up to the pen attached to the doorways

Build a trap house with Dino gate and a reg door way at other end run straight through and around the side to close gate ehind it. Have window walls or a tall ledge you can shoot from and put it down. The trap house will also help tp protect it during taming from other creatures attacking it and ruining your efficiency.

Kite back to ur own base to tame =higher success rate for taming

To capture the Rex you should build a raft with two high door frames surrounding it. Then you can kinda noclip the Rex into the raft then bring it to a safe area. Once you have it safe exit the raft and run through the door frames. Then the Rex is easy to knock out with tranqs and tame.

Ps I did this on mobile so it might not work on other versions.

you will might only need 22 tranq arrows and if ur playing on val use mutten due to the massive amounts of ovise (sheep) its like prime meat.

Why does it say that the Rex’s stamina is high, even though its stamina is literally trash? Would it have to do with its sheer size?

I guess there are a few requirements for this, but get a tapejara. I’ve tamed two spinos and two rexes by luring them to a cliff and shot them full of tranqs while my tapejara clings to the cliffside. I also got a blueprint Rex saddle at level 55, so it was all in good reason.

2:arows 100 and 2 bows

Than go to a high place than shoot the rex he coms near catch him in bola shoot him with arrows and spearswhen he start movin g agan throwgh another bola and the T-rex is your friend

Meh your Yutyrannus LV 117 was killed by a Rex LV 10 so i plan to kill the Rex by drowning it. Outcome the Rex don't bother me and You were killed by a alpha megalodon LV 2. Back on land you were killed by a spino LV 2. So I move my Yutyrannus Research Facility from carnivore island to blue obelisk.Rex ended my Yutyrannus Research Facility on carnivore island!
