Because they basically take ridiculously reduced damage if a light pet is not around I personally have found them especially useful in boss fights and in taking down wild gigas. If you have a high level,fully imprinted and used Mutagen on it you’re basically unstoppable. You could take down probably 6 wild gigas at the same time. (Assuming you don’t have a light pet on you,it’s fully imprinted and a high level.)

They can kill a giga if you spam the spit to slow them down and tail whip. In my opinion these things are top tier with their jump, tail whip,spit,bite,and roar. And of course just looking bad to the bone.
