You can tame them in gen 2 just go the the cave for the boss fight near the terminal they spawn just got to lure them out the ground then lure them in acid Pitt (under the terminal) there it will take damage from rising acid. when its almost dead lure it back out the pitt if it glows red /pink aprouch with shield it wil impregneren you.

Get out of there and kill shit.

For Gen2 folks: drag your reaper queen into the acid pit below Rockwells Heart. Hover over her to keep her above ground but out of bite and tail attack range. Spikes will hurt so dodge them as they add torpo. I prefer hiding on one of the surrounding platforms and when she goes underground I hover over her until surfaces and hide again. Sleeping bags in the local area make it easy to get back to work if she kills you. Keep this up until you see lots of green slime on her torso and all along her tail (this means she’s heavily wounded) then lure her from the pit using the ramp and guide her to the right platform away from the tentacles. Not glowing purple yet? Shot gun, bow, whatever just get the additional damage to make her glow. Once she’s glowing, drop near her and viola, you’re pregnant. Max you can level the parasite in your body is +75 or 52500 xp. The clock doesn’t continue when you’re asleep/ offline so don’t die and in 12 hours you need to be in an enclosed room with an inventories worth of meat on your person. King reaper baby bursts forth and you imprint right away. It will kill you and take all the meat it needs to get to a juvenile which is when it feeds off the trough. Congrats, king reaper with minimal effort. I did this yesterday, took 2 hours and I never fired a shot, but I killed 3 queens trying to get it right. Have fun!

raising these are the easiest thing ever. make a 2x1 room, 2 walls high and with a double door either side. go afk in here when you have 10 or 5 minutes left, but make sure youre back before you give birth. once youve given birth, go out the room, get a maewing, blackweight it and boom, you dont need pheramones or nothing!

make sure the baby reaper and maewing are unclaimed though, idk if it needs the glands if it is claimed.

claim the reaper and maewing once it's head is sticking out the wall, because youll be able to easily imprint.

They spawn in the rads zone so build a trap of stone dino gates then get a riot shield get behind it and place the last dino gate and get a catapult, a bilista turret, or a pump shotgun to damage it and when it has a little aura approach it carefully and it'll grab you with its tail and boom.

Super easy to tame on Genesis part two. I tamed mine as my second tame. (I'm kinda a phsycho path but...) all you need is a compound bow which aren't hard to find in gen prt 2 drops crossbow also works fine. Once you get that and about a hundred arrows. you have to then head over Rockwell inners and find yourself a reaper queen. Do your best to not agro anything but then you need to lead it to the acid pit below Rockwell heart. Then you just need to get it below 2000 health and lead it out and wait for it to impregnate you. Once you do that get out. Also shoot the tentacles and don't bring anything you care about, including mounts and being beds incase you die. Place them buy his heart. Hopefully this helps!

It's a good tame but it might need some levels of stamina. Most smaller things like raptors and wolves don't aggro towards it either.

Question: Can you kill things with a mount and still get xp for the baby or do you have to do it by hand up if yea down if no

Fairly easy to tame just get yourself a good level rockdrake and bring along some arrow, a crossbow, a magnifying glass, and a light pet. Once you have gotten the materials just go down into the radiation zone and find your self a queen reaper, from there use your rockdrake to get its health below 2000 constantly check when she starts to get bloody. Once you’ve gotten her below 2000 health (she will glow red with light pet off when below 2000 health) turn off your light pet and start to shoot her with your crossbow (this is so she agros one you not the rockdrake) and she will eventually dismount you and impregnate you. Depending on your hatching speed you can go out and kill things to gain extra levels on your reaper king you can get up to an extra 75 levels. Side notes: when impregnated don’t let yourself get radiation sickness it will kill the reaper. Also you can cryo it when it’s born to lose its agro before it’s a juvenile.

Got preggers 150 reaper, killed 1 alpha raptor and 1 alpha rex on Gen 2 with asc pump action. Max +75 in like 10min. First time having a seed in me so let's see how this berthing goes.

There is a bug where you can passive tame reaper kings but they get no taming affective ness but you have to be in players only mode

If your Reaper King turns invisible during its transition from Baby to Juvenile, simply grab it with a Karkinos and it will be visible and back to normal once again!

A great way to keep a baby reaper fed (at least until it becomes juvenile) is by waiting until it has 30 minutes left, then filling your inventory as much as possible with cooked meat. Wait until the reaper burst out, claim it, then let it eat you and your corpse. After that the reaper should get all your inventory, so it should be filled with cooked meat and keep it fed. And in the mean time, place a trough by its pen and fill that with cooked meat.

Make sure that once she is glowing to have a riot shield equipped for when she’ll shoot the spikes at you and swing her tail. Also make sure that when she sniffs you that her head doesn’t go through you as this means you’re too close and after she impregnates you she’ll most likely kill you. So when she sniffs you try to stay at least like 1-2ft away from her head.

Reapers are one of the best games in my opinion. They are amazingly strong and deal a bunch of damage. They are over all so fun to use and so cool looking too.

You can hatch and then kill baby dinos(Rex, spino giga) and quickly get 75 level's from only 1 or 2 baby's that way.

(Baby's with higher level give more Xp)

8 hour baby faze. Babys can be picked up by crab so anyone can access inventory and feed. If baby's bite you they also loose 500 food per bite.

Logging off seems to pause the pregnancy timer or at least It did for me.

The first step to tame is to create a trap for the reaper so when they impregnate you you have a safe place to hide from all the predators. Then go with your tribe and a small charge light creature (bulbdog best, highest charge) and turn off the light and wait until you come across a reaper with the level you want to tame, then you and your tribe attack and bring it down to low health (careful not to kill) and allow the reaper to impregnate you and hide wait to birth but make you you have reaper glands or else you and your tribe with be killed by the little menace as it doesn’t follow commands and attacks everything

If your on gen 2 the best thing to do if you dont wanna build a pen (although it would be easier and better for multiple people to get reapers) is to go into the heart cave on the corrupt ring side. If you go to the heart room theres an acid pit which can do about 5k a minute or more (haven’t bench marked it). Since you can hover, super sprint and keep away from the reaper queens Simply find a high level reaper queen and lure it over the edge into the pit. Be careful of the tentacles that can goo you and cause you to tumble into the acid pit. All 6 tentacles are only in the front of the pit and don’t change spawns. If you stay in the back their are roots you can lay behind to keep cover from the needle barrage of the queen once she gets to low health ( you can keep track of it by scanning with helena). walk over to the ramp on the right side of the pit ( if your facing the waterfall from the back of the pit). I found to start leading them over when at about 6-4K health. Then lure the queen out of the acid completely so she doesn’t die when she reaches the 2k threshold, use your shield and pray that you get it. I recommend bringing as little as possible, a back up shield or two for good measure, and turn on the life form scanner on your helmet.
